Called saying it was a dea

Caller said they were the DEA and that I needed to call them ASAP or a court order for my arrest would be issued. . I know it's a scam.. tried to call the number several times.. left messages for them to call me back. .. no response. .. it's a SCAM!!!

Also got the call from this number claiming to be DEA.

It;s a scam they admitted it to me!! After i played along then busted them i just called the real dea and gave them the phone number

scammers, goy call from guy saying he was DEA and 'my name was on a list' of people who had bought drugs online. I told him I don't even do advil and he quickly hung up. I am not sure but believe them to be telemarkers who are buying 'bulk' phone numbers, then calling to see which ones active so can call back later from different companies and area codes

Same, husband works for Federal Gov 30+ years. DEA told me they have been slowly tracking the scam... But charging them in US is difficult, because they are out of country and there is no positive ID of the guy. It's easy now to create a phone number elsewhere

I got a call from this number claiming he was with Homeland Security investigating online pharmacy purchases.  When I told him I didn't feel comfortable talking to him about this on my work phone, he said he was issuing a warrant for my arrest and I better get a lawyer and hung up.

Said he was officer Greg Wildes with DEA has a concern regarding homeland security.  Said  to call him back at this number and, if I couldn't be reached by phone there would be a warrant issued for my arrest.  Checked this website and saw I wasn't the only one.
