Borders comes up on the caller ID. Called early on Sunday spounds like Prank call also called a minute later from 214-414-1036. I found out that this is a land line in Texas. Please stop prank calling.

Received a call from (214) 414-1037 (caller ID is Borders). They hung up after I answered.

Its supposedly an ink catridge salesmen. They are in a borrowed office because the roof blew off their business. So they say.  Told ne they were in NV. LOL

Keeps calling, asking for one person and hanging up as soon as I say he is not home... will not give co. name or reason for call... hangs up while I am speaking.

I  received 5 call from this number today 3/8/12 comes up as BORDER 214-414-1037.

They have been harassing me at work for over an hour, Very nasty, and pranking calls as if they are customers.

"Borders" on the ID.  One call so far, but two others today had the same pattern -- incorrect caller ID, busy signal on machine, and "cannot be completed" when redialed.  I am totally weirded out by this.  Some people are reporting verbal abuse from the caller, one lady even hung up on  the caller only to receive a call from another number from the same caller, who cursed her out!  How can these calls be traced and stopped?  has anybody found a way?

This number belongs to Premier Bank. They keep asking for someone that had my number previously. Don't know if its legal to have a phony name on caller ID.

They called me saying they were from computer maintenance and they wanted me to turn my computer on.  I hung up and they tried calling me 2 more times.  Strange. Caller ID showed Borders.

Caller said he was from some business registry and that we owed him money for services placed over 2 years ago. When I asked for a copy of the singed contract, he hung up. When I called this number back, a message said it was no longer in service.

This # just called my cell and came up as '911' - of course, with that header I answered immediately as I have a mother-in-law in hospital. As soon as I answered it and inquired what the emergency was, the # of 2144141037 came up in my caller ID at work and the idiots there actually left another, yes, another message threatening me physically, and that they were calling from the FTC and myself or my lawyer had better call back 'or else'. All of it does not make much sense and I have reported them and all their fake #'s to the FTC and local police. I called right back after the threat and the # is no longer in service. LOSERS are the only ones that hide their true phone numbers or change them constantly in this manner so don't be fooled or waste time speaking with this hack. I told him he is not welcome to call my place of business per my boss (the first time he called), nor is he allowed to call my cell under the 'guise' of 911 as that is illegal to which he hung up. It's always the same guy and he called looking for a former Real Estate agent of mine back in 2010 with the same garbage but apparently she gave him my pre-paid cell to call - thus I fired her [***]. He's probably still looking for her.

Recieved a call from this no. about 5min ago..He said this is Albert and I am calling you about your computer and I said go away and hung up.......This number needs to be traced and disconnected....And the person or persons convicted for harassing calls.

Caller ID came up as "Borders 2144141037".  Woman said that she was from Maxitech & was calling to speak to "Charlie" about an invoice. Charlie is in our Production Offices so it was immediately suspicious.  I told her that all invoices are handled through our Accounts Payable Department in our corporate office.  She said that Charlie was her contact and she wasn't authorized to speak to anyone but him about it.  I then asked her if the order was put on a credit card.  She said that she was trying to collect on an invoice and insisted that she needed to speak to Charlie.  I told her that she was not getting through to Charlie because he has nothing to do with accounting...she hung up. :)  I looked up the company "Maxitech" and did see a few companies by that name who sell toner cartridges, etc.

Received call from this number 214-414-1037 caller ID said BORDERS.  These people have been calling several times a week.  Stated that he was working for Microsoft and that my computer has been sending them ERROR messeges and we need to correct the proplem.  I filed complaint with the DO NOT CALL list on this violation and talking to Verizon found out that these people try to get into your IP address on your computer and gain access to all your passwords banking account , credit cards information that you pay on line and wipe it clean. Several complaints have been filed but they are a call center located in INDIA tapped into phone lines in Dallas Tx (Borders) and another one that comes up on caller id  COLORADO and number of 720-708-1000.  Just do not give them anything and report the call to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints

Caller yells at whoever answers the phone and says dirty, graphic things.  He asks for random people and when he does not get the person (the person does not exist), he says horrible dirty things.

I keep getting calls daily from this number. When I answer they hang up.

I keep getting calls from this number and their is no one on the line. This is extremely incovenient for me because I am a tattoo artist and I have to stop tattooing and take off my gloves to answer the phone. Is there anything I can do to stop these people from calling me?

yes, i had extreme verbal abuse- we are on the NO CALL list- BORDERS showed up on our caller ID, also- The man had a foreign accent- (or was pretending to have one) that sounded Indian. I was cursed out and told to shove the phone up my....when I asked how they got our name and why they were calling.

I have registered a complaint with the federal communications commission...and re-entered our number once more for the DO NOT CALL registry... Why can't this person be stopped? They keep calling our new number, 5 times in the last 24 hours. No one speaks. Thank goodness for caller ID.
