    bad feeling

I got a call from a man with an Indian accent. He said he was from Microsoft services or something along the lines of that. He said my computer had really bad viruses that my anti-virus didn't kill. he needed me to download this website at www.teamviewer.com so he could show me how bad the viruses were. He wanted me to download something on my computer that would give him access to everything. He could control my mouse and show me the viruses. The whole time I had a bad feeling about this man so instead of downloading the stuff, I asked him where he was from. He told me Oregon. I just kept asking him questions about what company he was from and why he was calling. He then told me he was going to put me on hold and connect me to the supervisor. During him putting me on hold, there was a lot of static and rustling of the phone, so I hung up and immediately got a call back. I didn't answer and as soon as it stopped ringing another call came in this time with the number 214-446-4405 (Dallas, TX). I answered it and he never said hello or introduced himself he said why did you hang up! This was suppose to be the supervisor! I told him that he sounded just like the man I talked to before and he kind of laughed and assured me his name was Daniel. I said well the last man I talked to told me he was in Oregon and this number you called me on was a Dallas TX number. I said I don't want whatever it is your doing and hung up. The first number that called me was "Louis" 2103195026. Then the "supervisors" number was this 2144464405 number so that confirmed my suspicions that this wasn't a real thing.

I just got the same call.  I get a call from these folks from various phone numbers about once a week.  I nicely asked the guy to please stop call me.  He called me a Mother F'er and an A$$hole and hung up.  Yeah, I'd say it is a scam.

Call rec'd abt hour ago.  Knew right off the back, and gave him more expletives than he has probably gotten in a while.  What is sad is some people fall for these SOB's.  Wish the FCC, FBI, DHS, or someone would catch and bust these mf'ers.

The first time they called on the same day, I got some female American voice. She stated that my Microsoft computer was sending them signals that my computer was infected with viruses. I hung up knowing that I have anti-virus software already on my computer. About 15 minutes later a guy with a foreign accent calls back from the same number listed as Phillips. As he is giving me the rundown about viruses, I interrupted him and asked him if the services he was providing was free. He immediately replied "yes". I just hung up, because number one, nothing is ever free and second, I knew my computer was protected against mal-ware and viruses. People beware.

I got a call from this number, guy with the Indian accent.  Called on my business line and knew my business address, but it's listed.  Started talking about my advertising listing that I have with the company.  I asked him to please hold and put the hold button on to see how long it would be before he hung up.  He last almost 5 minutes.  By the looks of other comments here, looks like they are trying every scam in the book.

This seems to be a scam.  The guy that called me had an Indian accent. I asked for the name of the company and phone #.  He said the company name was "IT Technical Support" and the number was 860-200-10??. I told him I did not get the last part of the phone number, then he game me a different #, 860-222-2728.

When I receive a phone call from this Number it always comes up Phillips.  I have informed both men (of Indian decent) that I've Google this Number and that the company is a fraud looking to steal information from the computer and I told them to quit calling here. Both men threatened that they would call back no matter what I say and they don't Care about police or none of that, the last one Jonathan actually told me f%&k the police,  I do what the f%&k I want. I feel like I, just like other people are being harassed by people claiming to work for "Windows" when I actually know the real company doesn't make calls looking to gain control of a persons computer.  These people have to be stopped and found somehow and someway!!

Heavy Indian accent; said he was from Microsoft and that my computer had been "sending them signals" that it was infected.  I told him I did not own a computer. He said that a signal was coming from my residence from a Windows computer showing it was infected. I replied that there was a mistake somewhere because I don't own a computer. He asked if I was (said my name).  I said yes, but had no computer here. He said "have a nice day", I said you do the same and hung up. I was unnerved that he knew my name; I thought these calls were made by a robot dialer.  Caller ID said "Phillips". I know these guys are scammers and I handle them differently each time they call, depending on my mood. I keep blocking the numbers, but they just get another number and circumvent the block.

Received call on 10/28 from a man claiming to be "Harry" and speaking with an Indian accent.  He said he was calling from Windows Technical Support to notify me that my computer had some viruses.  He wanted to give me directions (beginning with Turn on Your Computer) to get rid of them.  I recognized the same voice that had called me a week before under a different name.  I let him know I had checked out his phone number after his previous call and that he was a scammer.  I told him not to call back as I was on to him.  After laughing into the phone I hung up.
