They say that they are going to arrest me on Friday and I will be in court on Monday.  This is a cell phone. They answer with the law office of Dallas Texas. Names being used are Jonathan Edwards, Austin Black. Stating I did a cash advance through American cash advance and cannot give me dates of when done or the amount. States that I owe over $8000.00. Ok if so nothing showing on my credit report...and further more no warrent for my arrest and my name is not on the court docket for Monday. Guess i will contact a lawyer and the bbb of Texas.

Rec vm today, stating they were going to sue me and attach my wages !!! Have never heard of these people and furthermore are very difficult to understand... Have rec. this same call 2 to 3 times a day for about 4 days.  What do i do!!!  Should I contact the FBI and so sick of these people!

Got a call today from a shawn miller stating I took a cash advance from America Cash Advance.  They further stated that I would be arrested at my job regarding a warrant against me if I  did not send in money right away.  I do not have a loan with this company and when I called the number back it was disconnected.  I had a lawyer's office called them and speak to shawn miller's supervisor and they denied calling me and threathing me.

This People are trying to Scam you there's no Law Offices or nothing,you WILL NOT BE ARRESTED. It's a scam don't send them money. This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Received numerous harassing phone calls from a person stating to be from the Law Firm of Dallas, Texas and I am a criminal and I will be arrested unless I pay him $5,100.00.   I have no criminal record and have never given any information to this foreign man who has called my phone.  I have tracked the telephone number to a land line in McKinney, Texas and have a complaint with the District Attorney of the Collin County, Texas' office in an effort to get an investigation into who this number is listed to.
