got three calls from this number telling me to respond immediately or fce legal action.

I received a call today also.  Threatned legal action if I didn't pay them by midnight..

These punks really messed up. I got 4 calls from these [***]. In a call center claiming to be from the office of Brandon Jackson and DRNC Law Firm, investigations department. I got 3 calls 5/08/12 one at my office and the other 2 on my cellphone. I am actually a lawyer!!! I called them to ask what this was about and that I was a lawyer and I wanted to speak to somebody. They hung up on me. Then I got another call on my cell phone from the same gentleman that has been calling me. So I called back and asked what this was about again. The guy kept saying which number did we call you on I said the one I am on now. I am the lawyer of the person you contacted. Then he hung up again. I called back 7 times and got hung up on all 7 times. Then I called from my cellphone again saying I was the lawyer of the person you are trying to contact, he said well have your lawyer call us I said I am the lawyer buddy. He said well f**k you you son of a b***h. Now when I call back on my cell the hang up on me. I am filing a complaint with the FTC on their number. My assistant can not find anymore information on their so called company.

My advice is too file a complaint with the local autorities and also from the city they are calling from. Also if you mention a lawyer or sending a letter they back down and start hanging up on you.

these people been calling my phone for one week and saying this is officer victor hughes and saying the last 4 digits of my social security number saying if i continue to not to answer them they will see me in court. They law its the law firm of drnc. They don't say what there calling for and when i called them back they ask what # they called me on and i said this one and he just started talking and i said what the hell is this and he kept talking so i hung up. They have called me 10 times in a row back to  back threatening to call me employer and gunish my wages, guess what I am not working got laid off so i am gonna file a complaint againt them. This victor guy talk like he have a mouth full of [***] you can not understand his [***] at all.

Threatened my life unless I picked up the phone.

asked if i had my lawyer name and phone number, i said no, wanted to transferred me...then i hung up,,,google the number...Now i will not be answering there calls anymore and IF i do  I will do what the lawyer did up there....

Got a call and could not understand anything this guy said. I am clueless since he mentioned someone's name that is not mine and I have had my cell number for 14 years so I do not know what they are doing.

I recieved the same message over and over if I do not respond they will take me to court and that I am a felon

I just received the same call from Brandon Jackson today.  Two weeks ago, the same fella called and referred to himself as Mike Davis from another law firm. He's calling from (214) 771-7151.  He called my work and my cell phone.

Somebody we have all done business with has sold our information to this idiot.  I'm saving all of his calls and I reported him to the Federal Trade Commission.

I feel that this person is trying to cause some sort of terror in people who may be vulnerable.  Save your voice mails from this person and let's all make certain he is convicted for his wrong-doing.

To add to this idiot's foolishness, he threatened, "You have one hour to answer this call; after that, it's too late."

Let's do something about this person before he harms some elderly person who doesn't know better. Report him to the FTC, and if that doesn't work, we may need to report him to the FBI.

i got a call on my cell phone no message left called my work and told the operator that I needed to call cause I had a legal action towards me. I called back on my cell phone and they asked for my social security # which I didnt give out so he asked to verify and i didnt. he said so you know about the charges i asked what charges he said you dont know the call got dropped. I called again and had a busy signal. so I called from my work number got a busy signal and tried played music and would hand up did that 5 times.

they called my work again so i told them I could take calls at work that I would call them after 5pm. they called me at 527pm central time yelling at me telling me that I have not called yet and i said who is this and what is this regarding and he would would say are you aware of a legal case against you i said no who and he said well we were expecting your call at 5 and its now 730 and I said yes 5 my time not your time and he laughed at me and said well well so I told them to stop calling me at work cause i have been warned and i hung up so they called me back and laughed and said i will call you 1000 times until i get you and you lose your job. made a police report.

The caller states their name is Officer Ronnie Brown and they are with the Legal Investigations unit and they need me or my attorney to call them as their is 3 legal charges against my my social security number. And if I or my attorney do not call them then all they do for me is wish me good luck.

I keep getting these international calls from this number.
I can't make out what they are saying.

I have been getting calls all week threatening to kill me and I am going to jail. I filed a complaint with the FTC because I do real collections for a living and they are making things bad for us. They claim we owe online payday loans B*******. I told them I was an attorney they just dont give up.

this indian guy calls my house,mind you it's not the first time niether,they call and pose as different people,all the same heavy accent.stating for me or my kids to give them a call back,because this a legal matter,there's 3 different matters on my social security number.this time they didn't give the social number or the so called docket numbers.when they called,i picked up and played indian music so they can leave me alone.hahaha..they got one time for my money,they are not getting me again.the calls would stop for a month,then start again.his so called named was mike blake.the company doesn't exist,niether the person fro this so called law firm collection agency.i just have fun with them,with the majic jack.they get mad.and say they can track my call.haha.i would like for them too,come where i am,so i can show them not to play with me or my pockets anymore.they need to be stopped.yes..pure scam...

In response to the lawsuit, Enhanced Recovery Company asserted that it was not liable under the TCPA because it had consent from the party the debt collector intended to call — the actual customer of AT&T. In rejecting the argument of Enhanced Recovery Company, the 7th Circuit recognized that Plaintiffs are entitled to protection under the TCPA as they were the “called party” under the meaning of the TCPA.

And can also file a complaint in the state the business is located in- their Consumer Complaint or State Attorney's Office...each state is a little different...give them hell, keep copies in an email to yourself or in a file ...

Company called my work line several times cussing and yelling and reps answering when I called back I recorded the conversations because they were yelling cussing and being rude.

I keep receiving these calls- it's a SCAM.

I too had several calls stating legal action.  I asked for badge number then switched to lawyer so asked for office could contact and verify his info.  None was given.  So told them to go well you know where.  And he got ugly.  So I called them back REPEATEDLY.  I reported to local law, and FTC.  But have continued to call them to chat. When I ask if they will speak to the law enforcement agent here they hang up.  They have blocked my number I have had to block my number before calling. But I highly recommend  calling local law enforcement and then for some revenge call them repeatedly.
