Received two calls from this number claiming to be and operator with collect calls from two different names. Asking for me to pay for it with a credit card. I DON'T THINK SO FOLKS

recieved a call from this number and a recording indicated that the call was being generated from a prison and that the conversation would be recorded. I hung up. Don't know or care to know anyone in prison.

guy who called himself "Kevin" called my girlfriend around 11:00 this morning telling her she was beautiful and wanted to "lick her pussy." he then apologized for waking her up.

i received a call from this number @2:44am on 12/25/07 and the answering machine picked up.  all the person said was hey it's me when given the option to say who the collect call was coming from.

My friend got a phone call from this number tonight in Florida. Male voice asked for me, used my name. She asked him who he was. He said he was my uncle. P.S. I don't have any uncles and I live in NY. Why would anybody call her about me???

they called me at 2am on new years day 2 hours after the ball dropped didn't say anything just hung up i'm in south carolina haven't called back though

My husband got a call from 214-969-5489, didn't leave a message, it showed up as a missed call.  I googled the number and it shows up as a payphone in Dallas, TX.  I called the number back and it shows up busy.  I am going to call the operator in Dallas, TX and find out if this is a payphone, we don't know anyone in Dallas, TX.

same 4 calls in a row.  tried to call back but it was busy

I saw it on my caller ID.  This number called at 9:59 a.m.  Didn't leave a message so I googled the number and here I am.

The scam goes on--I missed a call from this number and returned the call--busy---based on what I am readin here--sounds like a scam.

Some guy keeps calling my recruiting station from the number 2149695489.  He sounds kind of mentally unstable and keeps asking me to put him in as a Navy Seal.  I have asked him many questions and he doesn't qualify to even get in the Navy but he keeps hounding me everyday about being a Seal even though I told him he's unqualifiable and to stop calling me.

I got a call form my daughter who said she was calling from a truck stop in Los Cruces NM.  She said she was in the middle of no where.  When I checked out the # it said it was located in Dallas Tx at a pay phone on the corner of Abrams and Gaston.  I also tried to call back but line was busy. I am very concerned.

My call came in a while ago.  I heard my mom's voice on the other line under the operator.  The calls show up this number anytime someone calls youfrom a greyhound bus station.  Greyhound's corporate office is in Dallas.  All of their payphones show that number.  Don't know how they do it though.

Phone rang at home saw this number 214-969-5489 did not answere then my cell phone rang with this same number I answered and she said this is a collect phone call from  my boyfriend she said name and she asked me did I want to pay for this call by credit card of course I said no.  I'm reading the other complaints on this number and there is no way my boyfriend is in Dallas we live in N.C. and I saw him last night and he did not have any money to get to Dallas this quick.

Someone from this number called my husband last night but we didn't answer the call as we did not recognize the number.  After reading this I'm glad we didn't.

Ok, this was really weird. I got a call from this number today. I didn't know it so I didn's answer. Then my phone rang again from the same number. I answered it, ready to curse somebody out, and it was my little sister calling from a payphone up the street. We don't live in Dallas, we live in a suburb of Detroit, Mi. Weird!
