This phone number is listed as Seniors and is associated with 4 other numbers including 857-444-5660. Problem is that when I let the caller go to voicemail directly, it leaves a quite lengthy message stating that they have been sending me mail for years. That is a bold face lie. I do not participate on mailing lists. Secondly, I am not a senior citizen. Techonology is supposed to assist us but in reality, it appears to be causing more problems than what it is worth. I wish all of these calls could be stopped. Not really worth having phone service anymore when companies feel they can harass everyone all day long regardless of the time of day. FCC needs to put a federal bans on these types of calls.

If you have internet and phone service with Comcast, you can block up to 25 numbers. Just go to EMAIL, click PREFERENCES, click VOICE, and you will get the page for 'editing' phone calls. Open CALL BLOCKING, follow the instructions for putting in your phone number and making the list of rejected calls, and they will never get through again. Unfortunately for me, I receive too many nonsense calls and quickly filled the list. I resorted to buying a call monitoring device from Amazon. It's called SENTRY Dual Mode Call Blocker Version 2. Inexpensive and works like a charm. You input an Accepted Call list (your friends, family, necessary callers) and they will get through. Others will be given short instructions on how to get through. If a number gets through, you can either put it on the Accept list or on the Reject list. Once calls are put on the Reject list, they will never get through again. Only 'Accepted' numbers can ring your phone. It is wonderful. I used to wake up to 3 to 6 missed calls - all nonsense. The phone would ring throughout the day and evening - no messages, just hangups. For years, I just let them call, figuring that if they want to waste their time, fine. No message, no response from me. Well, I finally decided that this is sort of like a war, and I was going to win it. I have won it.

Unfortunately, today it is easy to 'spoof' a number, making it appear as if the call came from one number, but actually comes from another different number that is not revealed.
