NCO Financial (Debt collections

I have received 2 calls from this number. The woman's name is Brenda Fogle. No one ever answers when I call back.

I got a call from this guy Harry claiming he's calling on behalf of the federal government for student loans.  These are scumbags who are debt collectors.  What's the procedure to block their solicitation.

We have received four calls from NCO looking for someone named Robert.  All calls are either early morning or late night.  We get no name from the caller or company name but after four calls telling them each time that there is no Robert at this number I think it's time to file a complaint! I called the number back but only got an answering machine telling me to enter an extention number and no other information.  I did a reverse search for the phone number and found that the actual company is a collection company looking for someone named Robert.  You know, one phone call or even two is within reason, but four calls to the same number with the same result is ridiculous and now crowding the line towards harrassment.  It's not our account, bill, or business.

- "Only" 4 calls so far, on 1/23/08, 5.50PM, 2/25 at 1:58 PM, 3/11 at 1:54 PM and  2/25 1.58p(none), and 3/17 1:41 PM to 1:53 PM, and told they're calling from Tenn.
  I've been asked for my nephew who hasn't lived here since his college days 30 years ago, but they already knew I was just a relative.
  "Levere" at first thought this was in Colorado (I'm in upstate N.Y.) and wanted me to somehow have my nephew call 1-866-662-5601, N C O Group Inc. I told them "Do Not Call me".  After several other calls, Mr.Lindsey INSISTED (2 months later) that my nephew had left him a message to call here only a week ago; he said it was a Federal matter, but swore it was NOT a debt collection - apparently lying through his teeth on both matters.  Again I officially told them "Do Not Call!!"
- As is perfectly legal here (laws differ in different places) I have them on tape.

This guy named Scott Snyder calls demanding, not requesting DEMANDING, my ex-roommates new number.  I told him that I didn't want to give her number out (and I am a really nice person ESPECIALLY on the phone) and he started getting rude and irritated by my unwillingness to give up her personal information.  He told me that she knew him and I told him that I knew her since the 2nd grade and I don't know who he is.  I told him that I would give his name and number and that she will call him back.  He reluctantly gave up his contact information and he kept demanding her new number.  What a loser.  After letting her know, I looked the call id up and did a little research and found out that this company, N C O Group Inc, has harassed others as well and that this is not a unique case.  So I called him back and asked him what company he worked for and he asked me if I was my roommate, I said yes and he said it was N C O.  Then he asked if I was me and not her and I said yes and I just gave him a peice of my mind.  He said he had been with the company for 10+ years and I told him that I hope he didn't move up the company by treating people like that.  He apologized, but he knew what he was doing.  Well, I hope he gets paid well, so at least he can help himself sleep better at night.  Karma comes back 10 fold man...

I got a call from "Kramer" for someone I don't know. I called the number and got his voice mail. I explained I did not know the person and that this had been my phone number for 10 years. I asked him to contact me back with the database that he was using so I could contact them and let them know their info was wrong. He called back and left another message for the person I don't know. I called a 2nd time and got him on the phone. He argued with me that the message I left was that I was the person he was looking for. I demanded to know what database he was using. He argued with me about my message. I think he was on dope. I demanded his supervisor and was told they use Accurint for their info.

I keep on getting a call from this number but no messages.  How can I stop them from calling??

I got a call from this number today and didn't answer. I recieved a voice mail, but all that was recorded was a constant beeping sound about every second. I deleted the message and tried to call the number. I got a phone tree aksing me to enter the extension, or the persons last name. Of course there was no message, so I couldn't. I hung up and about a minute later got a call again. I hung up on the second call and was called, a third time. Each time I get the call its the same beeping sound on the phnone. So far I don't even know what to do in order to get the calls to stop.

I have set up a plan to deal with my account and still I get multiple phone calls from this # 215-442-8300. They call over and over and over. Then the same company calls my home number but they use a different #. I never get the same person and half the time they don't answer. I just want them to stop calling me three times a day everyday!

THese idiots kept calling and asking for someone that doesn't live here I picked up and the man was very RUDE..i hung up on him and he kept calling back..Im waiting for the "PLEASURE" to get to talk to him AGAIN! :)

They called our shop looking for an old employee who got fired back in March.

The guy said his name was "Damien"  ....How fitting!!

These guys are real JERKS! They just called my number, pretending that they were close friends of mine/my husband's. I think I know who our friends are. The guy on the phone kept saying, "This is Chris." He kept asking to speak to my husband but when I asked him, "Chris who? ... from where?.." he just kept repeating, "It's Chris." When I made him aware that we don't know anyone with that name, and to please state his business, he refused to say. HOW STUPID IS THAT? If this is a legitimate bill-collector, why don't they just say so, and explain what they think you owe, so that they can get their bill paid, instead of playing games? WHAT A BUNCH OF UNPROFESSIONAL IDIOTS! I suspect that they may be doing something illegal.

this heifer named "debra" keeps calling my job and said "if you're working why can't u pay?" i told her that was none of her business and she said just pay your bill and i quikcly disconnected the ignorant caller as I AM AT WORK AND I INITIALLY CALLED THEM ABOUT SETTLING THE $89.50 DEBT!!!!! at this point it's the principal and i will not be bullied into anything!!!! they get the rudest most ignorant people they can find and give them jobs at NCO!!!

I keep on receiving phone calls from this NCO. I don't know why they keep on calling my home. I talk to a gentleman, named Rhed. He was very nice accommodating. He was able to explain everyting. The call stop. Now they keep on calling me again. I called the phone number that Mr. Rhed had goven me, 800-550-9619 with extension 74472. King answered, I really don't like him,. I want to talk to Rhed, but King said they terminated Rhed. He was very nice, unlike this company...your fool NCO!!!
