Calls about every 45 minutes...Doesn't leave a message

same here has called me like 20 times, credit card processing company

I got 5 calls from them today  -- how do we stop this nonsense

calls me 4 or 5 times a day.  Usually hangs up.  Once a woman started shouting "hello, hello?" then  hung up.  I would imagine a collection call.

I received the call and it was something about an online directory- Green or Gwen something. Sounds Indian (with American names which is hilarious!). Hung up and wouldn't you know, they called back!! Wanted to verify my business listing, which they said they get off of other internet listings. I have hung up on them twice. I know better if they call again.

Searchgreen.net - or something like that.  they keep calling here again and again.  so far (within 3 hours) they have called at least 8 times.  I just pick up and hang up without saying anything.  a few weeks ago when they called, I challenged them - I played games with them - pretended that I was clueless, confused, gave them false information, told them that they got my phone number wrong (even though they just called ME!... etc...  THEY actually hung up on ME!!!!   but they still call every day - several times!   I just ignore them - who has that kind of time?  they are definitely telemarketers and even though the person on the line doesn't realize that they are scamming the public - the company they work for is scamming the public - otherwise they wouldn't have a motivation to keep calling.  

not much you can do - it's not the same called everytime so....

if they're calling your a home number then you can have them blocked - if it's a business # then you can't block.

Didn't respond when I answered.  This number has called before.

I never answer these numbers, but today (since I'm in someone else's office) I decided to call back.  There is a recording that states something like, "....the call was to perform a short survey on the environmental conditions in your area.  Since you were unable to answer the call, we located another person to assist us with our survey."

What a crock of S*#T!!  These people are getting smarter everyday to avoid any conflicts with FCC and "do not call".

My solution is to never answer and block whenever possible!

I am going to ask them to remove my business number from their list.  I will tell them I am record how many times they call and report it if they keep calling.

This number has called several times per day for the last several weeks.  The few times that I answer, the line is dead so I quickly hang up.  They continue to call and its very frustrating.  Being a business we need to answer the phone.

Telemarketers are the scum of the earth. They should get only one chance or warning to not call. After that they should have their tongues cut out!  These rotten [***] should get aids and die.

7 calls within 10 minutes. This happens every day. just finally answered phone. some immigrant was on the other end. He told me the calls would not stop. Threatened me. wanted to know if I thought this was some kind of joke.

I received the same phone call just a few minutes ago and the woman tried to verify my business information too but when she transferred me to her "quality control manager" whos name is "bob" he asked me if this was a corporation and I said yes then he said "Hmm." then he hung up on me. search.net or some kind of business listing service. I could barely understand her indian accent. I logged their number and I'll post again if something new pops up.

There couldn't have been more noise in the background if she was standing in union station.  I told her I didn't feel comfortable giving out our information and I asked if she could call back when my supervisor was in the office.  She said, "A janitorial could be right."  I said, "Is there a number we could call you back at?" And she aggressively said, "No, you're almost done." But we hadn't even started. Very odd.

Keeps calling me a million times today. Said they were from some search company with their annoying as S!%& accents. Is there any way to report this THEY WILL NOT STOP CALLING!

what kind of scam is this? - they called four or five times today. I hung up twice, they annoyed one of my employees several times today and yesterday. I told everyone here to just hang up when telemarketers call, say nothing and hang up. They said it was a directory, checking our listings and asked all kinds of stupid questions about our business.

Please quit calling!!!

same thing here. just harrassed me about answering these questions even though i only work for the business... which has about 20 phone numbers... after telling him i wasn't sure about the number they were verifying and asked for my last name. i hung up. they called back and started yelling at me about how he wasn't a telemarketer. i laughed at him and said fine i would listen to the rest. well we get to the last question which is a recording and the guy talking at the same time telling me what it is asking!! i tell him i could not understand a thing he or the recording said... he told me he woud play it again... well after listening carefully these idiots have the back ground indian voice recorded OVER the normal english voiced recording...so i hang up. he calls back again and is even more annoying than before. told him to call back when our office is actually open... but doesn't let me get a word out with all the indian jibber jabber angry-ness. i shouldn't have stayed on the line to answer ANYTHING! so please dont do it either. if you can help it...answer and listen to about 2 minutes... and just hang up over and over again. :P

Said they were from some online phone listing wanted me to confirm information on the business I work for.  I have asked them to not call many many times, because even though they say it is FREE the one time when I first started working here, they sent us a HUGE bill.  

They are a nuisance!

I just politely asked her to NOT call back and take our number off the list, we will see how that goes.
