Long pause, then background noise like it's a telemarketer, so I just hang up.

They've called my office six times in the past 24 hours.  The first time they got through and gave some spiel about updating an internet listing.  Now, they're marked as spam so they go straight to voicemail and leave no message.

same as above.  Some spiel about updating our info.  Seemed really perplexed that we would not say "yes" but just repeated their information, finally just laughed and told them no info has changed.   SCammers.

CID = PENNSYLVANIA. I refuse to answer calls from stealthed or blocked caller ID. But from reading other reports, I don't think this is a number that I need to answer.

How can we stop them?.....I won't them arrested....!

It's 11:30am and I've already two calls from this number today. They call almost daily and NEVER leave a message.

DO NOT ANSWER "YES" to any question.  They stated my phone number. When they asked if this was my phone number - I asked them "Did I answer it?' They stated my address like they never heard of such a place. Tell them the mailman knows where we're at. When asking for my zip code, I asked "What do you have?" They hung up.  They need to get you to say YES - Don't !   IF you can get them to hang up with dumb answers or comments, they generally take you off their list.

Received calls from this #,. Beware: this is one of those "we just want to verify your business information" scams. If you answer their questions they secretly tape your response and then you will be billed for an internet listing on a crappy web site. I suggest you do what I did and tell them in no uncertain terms you have no biz relationship with them and demand to be put on their do not call list. At the very least they have nothing on tape that can be used to swindle you.

Its a scam trying to get you to say yes so they can scam you.
There from pennsylvania and New Jersey etc.   Total scam

I'm am tired people calling and just leaving messages on my answering machine just saying hello and when you answer they don't say anything!

IF YOU TELL THEM NOT TO CALL AGAIN, AND DOES NOT MATTER IF YOUR ON THE NO NOT CALL LIST OR A RES OR BUSINESS, THEN THIS IS ABSOLUTE >> HARASSMENT << !!!!!!

Solution: dial *57 (or the code you dial for call trace) do this twice in a month, or more and report as an harassment call. Authorities MUST look into this. This worked for me, and I am thinking of going to court so I can sue them for money.  THERE IS SOME MAKE MONEY WORK AT HOME FOR YEAH !   LOL

"Green Listing Services" "merely confirming information" they already have. We are convinced it is a scam.

Hi all--I got this call 2 times today from   215-475-5480/ No answer no caller ID info but I seem to remember this had something to do with phone listings in yellow pages.  I bet it is a way for the telephone company to try to catch people with business . So they can charge more. Just my opinion..
