I just got a call too. Left no message. Do you have a child entering college next year? Could they have possibly bought numbers from SAT or ACT information?

I got a call from this number. I didnt answer, I don't have a voicemail box so couldn't leave a message.

This is a number from a company paid by colleges to makes cold calls recruiting high school seniors.

Call came from Austin College in Sherman Texas. I'm a college-bound high school senior so it makes sense that they would have my number. Answered after multiple calls, haven't bothered me since.

I have a college bound senior also.  How annoying of ACT or SAT.  Would never be interested in Dayton Ohio.

I just got the same call tonight, I answered but no one spoke and they hung up.  Caller ID says College Admission,  I called back curious what school would be calling, it goes to an answering machine and says please enter you phone number and we will call you back...  I am a returning student, I last attended college in 2005.  So it must be from either filling out financial aid forms because I only applied to two schools in PA.  I am thinking it could also be search engines tracing information back to your ip address.  I think that is extremely creepy...

getting the same call and hang up every night around 8PM, I file a complain on line http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm, also forwarding this number directly to FTC phone

Seems to be calling on behalf of colleges (OH Northern) asking survey questions (what do you plan on studying, what schools are you considering, etc.)

Called at 3:30 pm PDT on 28-July-2011.  No msg left. Caller ID is "Philadelphia PA."

I just got a call from this number, too.  My son is a college bound senior as well.  Caller ID says "College Admissions."
