I have been getting automated calls from several numbers claiming to be Verizon Wireless, claiming to have an important message for a Verizon Wireless customer (they give the customer's name).  They are calling me on an ATT Wireless phone!  I have blocked the numbers each time I receive the call, and then the call just comes in from another number.  I called Verizon Wireless and they say it's not them.  I've been getting these calls for more than 2 weeks, sometimes several calls in a day.

I've been getting 4-5 calls a day from this number over the past 2 weeks. The recording claims they are Verizon Wireless. They say they have an important message for someone named Jennifer - who is not me - and they say to press 1 if you're Jennifer and 2 if they have reached you in error. I hit 2 every time and then the call disconnects.

I have been receiving 4 calls a day minimum from this number... when I call the number back they say "if we've called the wrong number  press the * button", which I've done. At that point it wants me to type in a reference number. I have no clue what there talking about!! These calls are getting quite annoying and from reading these post regarding this number I think they should be reported to the authorities!!
