Difficult to understand. Something about federal courts. No names mentioned, as to who is being called, so I figure it's a scam. Says ignoring it will be a "second event" so you better call back.

His phone was cutting in/out. Had a hard time understanding him. A lisp or something. Threatening having to go before a magistrate, judge or other authority if we didn't call back. No specific person mentioned as to who the call is for. I did call back, probably shouldn't have, but the person's voicemail box is full. I will not be calling back. I'm figuring is a scam.

BACKBONE COMMUNITY--This is what was on the Caller ID.  Got a call a couple of times from this jerk.  Federal court, going before a magistrate, etc., second attempt...  This is a scam and  I will ignore it.

Got this call from Backbone community -- name is Steve Modesty -- second attempt to contact me.   I am reporting him to the Feds

receive the call this morning the call was breaking in and out and he has my name address phone number.  his name is Kevin Pietersen something about my 2011 taxes not paidin there is a warrant out for my arrest

This is a scam.  The guy's name is Steve Marin.  The number he calls me from (215)734-0222 is NOT the number he wants me to call him back on.  It is even a different area code (213)293-3920.

got the same exact thing and I actually called back.  Something about taxes, us dept of treasury, appearing before the magistrate, and possibly even getting arrested.  Mid eastern accent, transferred me to his "supervisor", who also had mid eastern accent.  As soon as I said the word "scam", they hung up.

Just got the same thing, big SCAM going on...

Do Not Answer and Do Not Return the call - It's a Scam

This is a big scam to scare people into paying whatever amount these jerks claim you owe in taxes from the year 2011 and they possibly may want you to give them your social security # and other identifying info in order to STEAL your identity..........but the main scam seems to be to get money from you.  This scam can be reported to the TREASURY INSPECTOR GENERAL at 18003664484 and to the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION at ftc.gov
Take down the caller's id #, name, phone #, reason for the call ( as much detail as you can record) and TURN THEM IN for the criminal activity in which they are engaged.

I just got 2 calls from 215 734 0222.  These are scam spam whatever calls. clearly the guy some non american is trying to get you concerned by using legal terms etc.  I'm sure if you call the number he tells you to call it will charge you something.  or he will ask you to hire him to clear the legal matter.  I want these calls to stop now!

Just got 4 phone calls in a row.  All the same number with the name Backbone Community coming up 3 times and private caller the last time.  Calls came in one right after the other:  8:54, 9:17, 9:38 and the last one for now 9:41.  Same message as the rest of you.  And he also left the same 213 number to call back.  I am glad I checked the phone number out to see it is a scam.  I figured it was.

Scam time.....Their 'auto dialer' must be fast tracking today! The message was the same as listed above. "Federal Crime", "Grand Jury", "magistrate"....blah, blah. Even though I knew it was a scam, I wanted to add my 2 cents to this notification.

They are still stating that they are from the US Treasury.  The calls are being traced and recorded by the feds now.  The scam is done!

I just got this phone call and what they are statin that: person ( they giving proper hosueholed name) own taxes from 2010 and police is on the way to arrest . It is such a horrible offence, but i wonder if the call form India ( with respect to Indian people). I spoke with someone with thik Indian accent. the number they call form and answering as well 215-734-0222

Middle Eastern accent claiming we own money and will be arrested told them to take me off theior list and they hung up they called at least three times this AM

Got a message twice about a federal crime magistrate.  Very hard to understand, call back number does not match caller ID#

They called my phone number twice: first left a message, then called again in 5 minutes.  The guy had strong Indian accent, his voice broke as if his cell phone was losing reception.  The message said his name was something like "Ez Moden", and he mentioned some enforcement action from the US Treasury, the 2-nd attempt of avoiding something, jury, magistrate, etc. My wife answered the phone - he mentioned her full name, scared her to death. What's interesting, the recorded message contained exactly the same text repeated 3 times, and at the end there was a "Good bye" said by a sweet female voice... I will definitely file a complaint on them.

I just called this number and the man said that I was going to be arrested.  He was rude .  He said I owed for 2011 taxes and that I had done them wrong.  This upset me that he said you can pay $6,000 now or the agents are coming to get you in 45 minutes His name was Robert James agent #17123 .  This is a scam Don't give them any information. He had an Indian voice (from India)

I got the same message from someone with a strong accent.
"Hi this message is intended to contact you. My name is Steve Martin and I'm calling regarding enforcement actions executed by US treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an additional second attempt to white?  initial appearance before Magistrate judge-or-grand(?) jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 2132933920. I repeat 2132933920. I advise you to cooperate with us and helpe us to help you. Thank you."
