- AT&T EmployeeThis number calls me 2 or 3 times a week(at least), wanting to know if I want to lower my interest rate on my credit card. "press 1 and you will be connected with an operator" ---"press 2 to be removed from our calling list". I've tried both and neither one results in anything. Pressing 2 instantly hangs up on you...(Ive tried this several times) and pressing one usually hangs up, but once I got a real person who said "Are you calling to lower your interest rate?" I said yes and was almost instantly hung up on anyway. Ive tried calling it back but the mailbox is always full (of course). All I can tell anyone who is receiving calls from this number is to not answer or to block it, and DO NOT GIVE ANY SPI TO THIS FRAUD!!! I am considering filing a complaint with the FTC or the Texas Attorney General or whoever it is that can get results on this type of HARASSMENT.
