same got the call but no message was left.

Same here! Calls and leaves no message.

Call, no message

calls several times a day. I haven't answered it, but I've a feeling it may be a collection agency for Wells Fargo, as I am in a dispute with them.

I have gotten 4 calls from that number in just 5 hours today.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize or who block their ID.  I tried calling the number back, but get a recording that it is an Invalid Number!!  WTH ?!?!   I am not in dispute or collection with anyone, so who the heck is calling from this number??  

I still get the calls at least 4 times a day, but if you say you're not in a collection dispute with anyone, then it must be something else, like a salesman.

Received several calls.  Connection broken when I answer.  No message is left.  I have tried to call back and have had no luck.

just rec'd a call from these people, caller id had them as PNC Bank. wanted to set up check over the fone for a
collections for a debt. checking now with bank.

I believe it is an outgoing only number from PNC bank.

Called around 8:15pm est. No immediate pickup, after 5 second of silence there was a woman who I could not clearly hear at all or make out what she was asking for. Caller ID said it was from PNC Bank from an Ohio branch.  After a small inquiry she wanted some personal information regarding his account. She didn't sound professional and stuttered profusely trying to get further information and eventually hung up.

Called just now - it is a # for Nationwide Bank, I applied for a pre approved loan & they left a msg wanting me to call back about it.

Old number for National City Bank. Got re-directed to PNC bank (the company that purchased and ruined National City Bank and National City Mortgage).

Received call @ 04:15 pm today.  Didn't pick up, no message was left on answering machine, caller id  reads PNC.

Got my first call ever from this number this morning at 8am on the dot. Woke me up. I didn't answer and no message.

They have called every day for three weeks.  Claim to be PNC and want personal information to verify account (Home equity loan department).   I do not have a loan with PNC.  I refused to give any info and wanted to call them back using the  number on the back of my Credit Card but they said that number would not work and wanted to give me a number to call. The caller would only give me his first name "Kenny" and said he was not allowed to give out his last name, he also could not give me an employee/operator number or a claim/incident # regaurding my account.  I called PNC direct and confirmed they did not call and this was a phishing scam.  They said they would never call and ask for personal information.

I get at least two calls per day from this number.  They claim to be PNC Bank and ask me to give my name, address, phone number and last fours digits of my SSN.  I refuse to.  I have no accounts with PNC and they indicate they are calling regarding a home equity account payment that is past due.  I also have no home equity loan with any bank.  I am now going to monitor my credit report.  The employees only provide their first name, never their full name, nor do they provide an employee number.  And when I indicate I will go to the PNC website to find their number and I will call them directly to confirm their clains they say that I will not be directed to the correct Department that I have to talk to them.  I have called PNC and reported this number and tactics.  Seems like a phishing attempt for Identity theft.

They have called me twice and same thing-want me to verify info and I won't. I said I would call PNC myself and of course they guy offered me the number. I said I would find it myself and he was just like-ha ha ok. PNC says they never call and they wouldn't ask me to verify stuff if they did. I can't wait for them to call back now!
