I don't know whose number this is, but stop calling my phone.

I have a feeling that many of my unkown calls are coming from colleges.  They don't leave a message nor do they answer the phone.  Sorry about other folks going through the same thing, I know I'm not alone.

caller was a male & asked for my son and when I told he was unavailable but I would take a message the caller would not leave a message.  A few days letter called again but hung up after only 3 rings. It feels very sketchy to me. The number shows up on caller id as academicadvisor which, I know my son is not interested in more schooling...    I don't trust this to be a legitimate caller from a legitimate school...I have a bad feeling about this caller and number.  I do know the number is located in Ohio.

I also received a call from this number. I do not know who they are they do not leave a message. But I do not have time to play games I have cancer and can't keep running to the phone to answer it. I wish they would leave a message then if I am interested I would call back. But for now am kind of busy being sick.

job applications and clearly saw the box that asked do you want to further your education. Even though I checked no, they obviously do not care--that is what the calls are about they want half of your money you will get to go to school--they do NOT want to give you a job...what a scam!!!! It should be illegal.I am going to put them on my do not call registry number list. They will get fined if they call again.

Signed up yesterday with Jobs.com - unchecked the box that says I'm interested in being contacted about educational courses - today I've gotten calls from two different "continuing education" telemarketing companies. Never got them before - go figure!

this number called twice sofar today 3/12/2013 once at 8:24 am and again at 99999:44 I was able to answer it the second time and they asked for my mom, I said that she was not interested in taking college classes in which she is not, and he started acting like he could not hear me and saying are you there whenever I tried speaking

I get a call constantly from 216-282-5538 & 980-265-5501 on my cell phone.  They call at all hours starting at 8 am & ending at 9 pm.  I haven't filled out any forms in quite some time & definetly don't put my cell phone on them since I'm on a fixed income & my cell phone is prepaid.  Today I got a call from both the numbers one immediately after another.  I called them back & it is a recording.  Same lady on both numbers saying she was with Academic Advisors and that it was a free service & that they would get back with me.  1.  How can they get back with me if I hit *67 and blocked my number & 2.  You can't leave a voice mail so how do they know I've called to get back with me.  Then she says hit 2 to be removed from their call list and when I hit 2 it does nothing.  No recording saying I would be removed...nothing.  Again 1.  How can they removed me if I hit *67 and 2. How can they remove me if it doesn't give me the option to enter my number.  I've looked everywhere on the net for information about this place and all I get is that it's a scam.  I also read that they don't have to follow the Do Not Call policy because it was a requested service.  Again, I make sure that I read everything & do not check to be be contacted for this very reason.  STOP F*ING CALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  NOBODY WANTS TO TALK TO YOU & YOUR MAKING ALOT OF PEOPLE ANGRY AND I HOPE YOUR WHOLE PATHETIC COMPANY GETS SHUT DOWN.  GET A REAL JOB!!!!!

Just signed up on Snagajob.com, UNCHECKED the boxes offering continued education and still got called.

Signed up earlier today on a job search website and have gotten two calls from Academic Advisors - the first from (980)265-5501 and now a second one from this number.  I have called both back and receive the exact same recorded message about "continuing education" - I did the Press 2 for removing my number, then Press 1 to remove the number I'm calling from.  We shall see.  (I too did not mark anything on the job website to send me info...)

Caller said I was interested in Continuing education- I am not. Don't give out any information to them

I think it's from Carrington College, a subsidiary of DeVry College.

I got  call s from the same two #s . I also filled out  forms for free stuff . IDK.!.!:!.!.

got a call from this number today and they said I was picked to receive a grant for 9,200.00 to be used for school or bills then asked for my check or credit card number so the funds can be deposited and I replied I don't have either "which I do" so he said well you can receive cash (who gives out 9,200 in cash), then he gave me a number and told me once I hang up with him to dial that number, sounds crazy to me.

Academic Advisor, telemarketer who said she was calling in response to my request for info for furthering my education (I did not.)  I registered on several job boards, and though I checked the box that says I do NOT want to be contacted about this, I get these calls.  Day and night my phone is lit up with these calls.  I ask them to take my name off of their call list, but I think they just sell it to another company.
