They said they are not a debt collector but attorneys...companies that you owe money
To and don't pay them, they go to them and proceed to court if needed, at least that's what
I got out of it.

I received a call from this number stating that this is for a restraining order against me and I am the respondent.  I don't know anything about this so this is a litigation about something and you cana't get ahold of them. it's a recording that wants you to select 9 on the phone and call them back and that don't work either it needs to stop

same here. What an harassment to seniors I dont owe anyone any money.

Please report them to the Ohio Attorney Generals Office immedietly. They are using the name of a very well respected law firm whom helps disabled persons to scam people out of money.Please call the Help Center at (800) 282-0515 and report them.

I received a call from them as well. Basically, everything that the person on the phone said was in direct violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. When they do not give out the address to send a Debt Verification letter, falsely claim that they are attorneys (ask for their American Bar Association number to look up) or government representatives, falsely claim that you have committed a crime, or  say legal action will be taken against you, if doing so would be illegal or if they don’t intend to take the action. When you receive a call ask questions. Ask for a debt verification letter be sent to you from the company that is intending to file suit, if one is not provided or they say that it has been sent, ask for the mailing address to which you can send a letter to request them to cease and desist communication with you other than in writing. They will not give you any of this information and will tell you that they "will move forward with the court filing", but they have to give this information to you by law. This is done as a scare tactic, no business calls you to say you are being sued, getting a summons to court isn't bad, it is giving you the opportunity to fight the suit in court and defend yourself, so don't let the legal wording scare you into paying money you do not owe. Be firm but polite in dealing with them.

They are always calling me, atleast two years.  Left me alone for awhile.  Even called  using info. about my son.  Turned number over to the local police,  got nasty call back from them when police called.   Now getting calls again.  Turned them in to the better business bureau..

Just got a call today from them and they told me the same thing that Roberta said. I will have to call back and have some fun with these scammers!! I owe nobody nothing! Will keep you all updated after I call them back.

Please ignore these people.... and don't call back or press any numbers.  It just validates the number u arecslling from and the calls will increase.

I also received a phone call today but the number was different  ( 216-536-3460 )but the same area code . I live in California and this company says I owe money to a loan company which is bogus.if they're from Ohio should I give  this information to the Attorney General there? it's sad to see this happen to us seniors and other honest people out there!

got another call from them today. wonder which company I owe money to now?? first it was LOAN.COM, I called them and they said I have never had a loan with them and owe them no money. Bogus and scammers!!

This is a scam and i owe no outstanding debt and i contacted the number which is a cell phone and the number is 216 385 7648 and they claim to be Lrs.

I received a recorded message from an unknown number that told me I have a restraining order against me. They told me to call then at 216-644-1249 or have my lawyer do so or they would contact my employer. I am sick. I am disabled. I don't need this aggravation. Please make it stop immediately.

LRS just called me and said that i  owed them money and if i do not pay them they are taking me to court when i asked what company i owed money to they would not give me the company's name. They said i owe 1500 dollars and i could settle for 645 dollars the number they give you to call back is 855-626-5688

I work as a correctional officer and my sergeant just called and said an automated system called and said they had a restraining order against me.  I don't even deal with anyone where a restraining order would be needed.  I called the number and as mentioned before it just says it's some litigator and press 5 to leave a callback number because the voicemail is full...ALWAYS!  I'm in AL so who can I contact to stop this?  I don't even know how they got my job's number.  They called me from 855 626 5688 and left the name of Nina Kilpatrick to callback.
