Received a call stating that I needed to call this number back. It was regarding a complaint, they were going to contact my employer, file some type of litagation, also get a restraining order. I've been trying to call the number back, but no one answers...

I have received the same call.  I believe its a scam!!!

I got the same message. I caled it back & the caller is supposedly Chase Mathis, but mailbox is full. I think I'll report to the Better Business Bureau. Let them deal with these problem people!

I got the same message. They call me from a 865-6696 number. I've been getting calls from the for a while now. They threatened me before about taking "further action". Around this time last year I was getting calls from this number and they said they were going to contact my employer... so on and so on. There was a guy with a heavy accent like he was from India, he kept threatening me about how I owed them money from a loan I had supposedly taken out. I told the guy that I don't owe them anything because I never took out a loan. I ended up contacting my human resources at my job about this matter and letting them know that someone keeps calling me making these threats. They told me they won't give my information out to anyone and that if someone does contact them, they will inform me of it and their information so I could have it put to rest. I'd say, just protect yourself as well as contacting human resources about it. They can't take any course of action unless they have a sheriff serve you with court papers. Oh, and I blocked their number on my cell phone providers website to ensure I wouldn't receive anymore phone calls from them.

This person calls two times a week? call iy back and the mailbox is full. no one answers

I received a phone call, stating there is litigation against me and I will have to appear in court.  No answers the number when I call it.  It comes up unknown on my phone.  If I have to go to court, where are my papers????

I JUST got this phone call right now. Same voice mail as the others as well. I will just delete the message and move on with my day. I will block this number too. Thanks guys for the feedback. Phone number came up as 216 644 1249

I have received several voicemails from this number threatening me with a restraining order, that my employer would be contacted if I or my attorney did not call within 24 hours.  This is a recorded message, not a person.  I am hoping this is just another scam, because I just started a new job 2 months ago, and I feel threatened. Someone please help stop this madness!

Received the same message Was told I had a complaint filed against me and they were going to call my employer. The complaint was a restraining order BLAH BLAH BLAH.. I know it's a scam because the only cross words I have these days are with my 17 year old daughter and her mom for covering her A_ _ and anyone who knows me knows I am medically retired so I have no employer. So I will wait for the never to be seen summons to appear.

If there was a restraining order, is it even legal to call them back.  The fact is, they are not allowed to contact your employer and restraining orders are not associated with debt collection.  Wait for their non existent court order (which will likely never come) and go to court to expose their illegal debt collection activities.  Their threats are illegal at best and likely a scam. I wouldn't bother trying to reach them.

These people claim they are litigators, thaey are collecting on a payday lender debts. I have file a complaint with the attorney generla in that state.

Much like all the other messages, they threaten litigation within 24 hours & will tell my workplace if I don't return the call. Believe it's a scam....

rec'd the same message today on my phone, threating me.  so tired of these calls.

Same as all messages above its getting annoying that they keep calling me and they arent allowed to take mney from u and all that its all a scam..

just got the call, same number as all the people above, same recorded message. Its clearly a Scam!!!!! block the number, and move on. These people just want money that they are not owed. don't letthis get to you! it's a SCAM!!!!!!!!

I got a call from 216-644-1549 voicemail stating im involved with a restraining order and they will contact my employer im not working at this time this seems a prank I called back got recording stating mailbox is full I disconnected the call

If you can get a real person, have fun with these people. Once I told the guy I had been advised by our local police department to tape record this call. So could you please wait a minute while I get this set up? He kept trying to talk over me, but I wouldn't let him. It was so fun, every time he tried to talk, I told him to stop, my recorder isn't ready yet. By the time I said ok, I'm ready, he was long gone.

I have the same phone calls. I  use to receive them from another number.then one of the magazine shows had these people on the and exposed them as scams.if u Ever talk to someone tell them yousaw. them on tv and u are recording the conversation see how fast they hang up. They cannot contact your employer's if They do the employercannot give information out without your permission.

Got a call from this number someone saying he was james jones same message that i will go to court for un unpaid payday loan.  These calls used to be madr by fake lawyers with heavy accent from india, now they are americans making these calls so it will be more believeable.  I have been victm of these calls before. Please report to all agencies
