Lady spoke with very heavy Asian accent.  Almost impossible to understand.  She knew the name of my home based business.  I asked who she was, but she refused to identify herself.  She had my street address, but if I understood her correctly, she didn't have the address right.

Yes, the accent is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to understand.   They would not say what the name of their business was, just kept asking questions.   If they want information the should at least let one know to whom they may be.

Same thing...heavy accent, they had 1/2 of my business name right...could barely say it. Knew my address, kept asking questions...I hung up

Numerous calls and I am on the do not call list.

Calls my retail store and interrupts my time with customers. Wish I could do something about this problem. If I see the number and do not answer, the phone ringing is still very distracting.

I have had the same experiences. I was told to write it up with the FCC and email them a complaint. Maybe if everyone does it, we can shut them down!

heavily accented male asked if this was a sporting goods store. i said no, and he asked what it was. i hung up.

Called and left no message on my answering machine at 4:07PM on the 22nd of February, 2008.

Got a call from the 216-912-2002 number.  The person spoke with a heavy indian accent.  They immediately started asking questions about the business.  When I asked who they were the response was that they were updating their list of businesses and wanted to know the address.  It sounds like a marketing scheme of some kind.  Be careful.

have received calls from this number before, but no one speaks when I answer.  I used caller ID and get a voice mail with foreign accent.  I am on a do not call list.  The FCC URL listed in a previous post doesn't work for me.  My caller ID lists it as Satyam Comp SVR

Called asking if we sold cell phones.  We said no, and they asked what we did.  We explained it to them, then they wanted to verify our address.  Sounds very scammy to me.  Best to just hang up on them.

I got a call last night from a man with a thick accent, he wanted to know if my address wass suchand such, I told him no.  I work out of my home and I do not give customers my address ever.  He then became very insistant about getting my address and I just continued to ask him what he wanted.  After going through this for about a minute he finally hung up.  This afternoon I got another call from this number, not realizing it was the same number that called last night and decided not to answer but allow them to leave a message and they did not.  I looked on the caller ID and looked up the number in google and came across this site and others saying the same thing.  Thank you all for the valuable information.

Lady with a heavy accent wanted to know if this was a resturaunt.

I too received a call from this number.  The man had a very thick Arabic accent and was relentless wanting to know our business address. We are by appointment only and in the midst of moving our office.  I asked him several times why he wanted our address, then he asked if our address was xyz, which it was.  I told him we were moving and asked again why he needed our address.  He hung up on me.

They just called, the man with the thick Indian accent said he needed our business address to update maps.  Yes, they are very persistant.  I finally asked why he needed the address and he told me.  I don't know if he was telling the truth though!

A lady with a thick Indian accent called my cell phone. When i picked up it took a while for the lady to say something. She stated her business which I cannot recall and then she asked if this was a residence and I told her she got a the wrong number.

A man with a very heavy East Indian accent called and wanted to know if this was my business. I said it was and then he wanted the address. I asked why and he said they were doing a digital map. I gave him no more info and hung up, then blocked the number. I have a B.E.L.-tronics AD-100 Caller ID and it works great!

Man with heavy accent called on Saturday.  Made him repeat his question 3 times.  Could not understand him.  Wanted to know if my husband sold auto parts.  I told him no.  Wanted to know if this was a residence.  I said yes.  He then proceeded to ask if 123456 was my address.  I cut him off before he'd finished and ask 3 times who he was.  He hung up.  Reverse directory showa number as Satyam Computer Services, Cleveland, Ohio.

They called my place of employment and was asking about or service and our address.
