"Morgan George morgangrg55@yahoo.com" responded by email to a Craigslist ad (I did not put a phone # and used a blind email Craigslist address) asking generic questions but putting this phone number as a hyperlink.

It's an Illinois phone number - I'm in New Jersey and I'm selling a piece of furniture.

Needless to say I didn't contact him or click the link..

Received a craigslist response from "Sally Steven". It listed this as a contact number.  I would not call it.

This guy scammed me on Craigslist. Sent 2 fake money orders, had me wire funds to a fake shipping company, and turned out the craigs list were fake. I had to pay the bank out of pocket. He used the name Morgan Charles, has an Asian accent, and used email address morganglobal45@gmail.com.

Also seeks computer repair service on craigs list. Sends fake money orders as payment.

I also posted a Craigslist item that he inquired about as Morgan Charles. Sounded fishy to me, because NO ONE is ever that willing to overpay for an item, and at first he said he'd pay with a money order, then he said he'd have his secretary cut a check. Also, their wouldn't need to be any repairs on the item I was selling...so I decided to check the phone # and found your post. This is what he wrote to me:

soonest. I am quite comfortable with the condition of the item.  Since
I won't be making any repairs on it, I will add $50 to the purchase
price... for you to hold it for me,Please provide your full name,
Address and your Phone number so that I can send your payment.I will
be paying you by a money order.It will take 2 -3 days for the payment to get
to you,As for delivery,I will make arrangements for the pick-up after
you have received payment,If this meets your approval, kindly get back
to me, as soon as possible, with your name, phone # and mailing
address where payment will be sent, so that I can have my assistant
get the check ready, Note: As soon as you have your money in hand, we
can talk about the picking up of the item i have my own private hauler
that will handle the pickup from your location.. I would like you to
take the posting off craigslist.org today and consider is sold to me.

got a george morgan! he didn't sound to pleased. i adressed him about his inquiry, and he said he''d send payment. he won't. i caught him.

call the above number and bug the crap out of the guy. he's a scammer!
