They have called now 4 times and nothing on my voice mail!!! Twice from the same number and then two other times from same number but last two number were 217-557-6643 and 217-557-6644 and 217-557-6638

Same thing reported by others. They called early Saturday morning (9am) .  They left vm saying there was an urgent matter regarding my recent tax filings and I needed to call back as soon as possible.

Just got one from 217-557-6643, answered and it was a recorded message saying call Kevin Gannon at a local number (which I didn't get down in time) and then it hung up.  The called ID said "IL ST OF" - so I'm not sure whether it is legit or not.  I do think I've always gotten things from IRS in the mail, so that seemed odd.

Numbers (217) 557-6643 and 44 have called me twice thus far, starting@9:11am on a Saturday. The line is conituously busy in attempts to call back and when they called the second time, as soon as I answered, they hung up.

it is supposedly the illinois department of revenue like if you owe money from your income taxes..... they just keep calling and playing a recording for you to call another number  which is 217-785-2698. That number is for the illinois department of revenue I guess.... but they are closed on saturday so you have to call back. Why would they annoyingly call on saturday when you cannot talk to them at that time.

Please make sure you read this link. This is a real scam, they called me too! This is not a real IRS agent. Be careful.

Called me on Saturday morning and said they were from the IRS.
Call back Monday thru Friday for further information.

I received a call from this phone number and I don't know who it was from. I heard my headset playing a recording and it sounded official, but I did not receive a voice message.I need to make sure this is not something official but I need to respond to, so I am looking to find out who or what company the phone number and the phone call came from.

I have gotten 6 calls from this number in the past two hours

received robo calls within an hour 12-1 of each other on 12-14 on my business phone.  Robo recording says IRS is calling telling about upcoming changes, since I know the IRS does not call, I just hung up.

I just got the same phone call an message

got calls from 217-557-6648, ...49, and ...51.  all within 30 minutes of each other and no voicemails.

Had two calls from this number on my caller ID 30 minutes apart today while I was out.  Since I know that the IRS and other taxing agencies always contact people by letter I agree that it must be a scam.  I have no intention of calling them back or answering further calls from them.

I received 2 calls from this number today, I couldn't answer but when I dial back its a continuous busy signal

they called and left a message to call kevin gannon with my business id number and business name and he'll call back
