Got a call from this lady Sylvia (which was actually a recorded message) on my work phone. It said something about "papers that have been forwarded & will be expedited" & that I should call them before 7pm tonight or the client will be taking further action in the morning. This is the 3rd time this week they've left this message. This is a Level 3 Communications Landline in Duluth, MN. So I couldn't find an address for them.

I received the very same call today but the call came from 214-233-8269 (Dallas). It went to my voicemail so the 1st part of the msg. was cut off. I had no name to identify. The woman said to call 218-249-0445 (Duluth) by 7PM. I called back the 214 (Dallas) number and after about 15 rings it went to voicemail where the greeting msg. identified her as Sylvia Holt.

I just received this call also, they called my work, my cell and my mom's house(whose number I never give out to anyone)
Just wondering if anything ever came of it, or if it was just one of those scams

I got a call from this number several times, they left several voicemails, and when I finally return the call it is a fax line or a recording.
it states: "Hi this is Sylvia Holt, please know that your file has been forwarded on to expidite your case, we can help you today, if you call before 7pm today. Please give us a call back or have your attorney give us a call ASAP"

They have called my cell number, my work, my husband, my moms(which I never give out)..

If anyone can tell me if anything has become of this, I Would really like to know...thanks

I got the same Sylvia message from this number and a Colorado number when I googled the Colorado number it is flagged to be an IRS scam and phishing so ignore do not communicate

Very real sounding almost had me fooled

First time they called recording said it was a federal request for my ex-husband. Today's call came from Sylvia Holt, similar to messages listed here. Thing is we have been divorced since 2000 so I have no idea why they are even trying my number.

I got the same message from this number!! Does anyone know who and why this message is calling people? Sounds like a scam to me!!

Also getting this message - no answer when I return the call.  They keep asking for a name unknown to me.  I have had this number since the exchange was started so he NEVER had this number.

It's showing up on my landline, I think it is a scam.

Received a call from this number saying the exact same thing!!  When I called back, I reached a voicemail with a man's voice to leave your name and number.

Got the same call from Sylvia Holt. Then they called my son and left a message for him to call me and inform me of some legal matters. Scam

I just received a call from (218) 249-0445, it was a recording from a lawyer named Sylvia. Then I called back and a young male btw ages 20-40 answered. I heard a child in the background and I told him to take my number out of their system. He said ok thank you. I will block this number and believe that its a scam.

We received this call yesterday.

I just got the call on my cell number in reference to my sister... I did some research and it looks like a scam!!!

Same call from same number...Same voicemail...So we blocked it. Thanks for all the reports.

I too recieved a call from sylvia holt through my next of kin, almost had me fooled, thanks for your posts folks.

Yes it's a scam when they cannot tell u why it is they are calling about threatening that ur social will be at risk or some stupid thing like that I got the same call but I have an app that can tell me when a suspected scammer is calling and on my ID it says "reported scammer" so yes it's a scam be careful don't let these ppl scare u into giving up ur info....

I got a message from this Sylvia Holt as well. She also called my parents phone number as well which I'm not sure how they got. I called the number back before 7pm and it just rang. Finally a recording came on and it was some male voice saying to leave a message, which I did not.
