They've called three times in the past week or so. I am to assume they are the hackers of the DNC list!!!  Ever since I put my number on the DNC list YEARS ago.  . . .I haven't received a call from a telemarketer until now.

Just got a random call from this number, got online to try and figure out who it was, and found this post...wish i could help, but i don't have the faintest clue...

I called the number back and the voice mail indicated they are a sales and marketing link.  Just a third party paid to call for marketing or sales purposes.

This person keeps calling me and not answering when I say hello.  How can I report this?

Actually, I just called and it is a marketing number -- I left a message to remove me from the list............

218-740-2135 calls several times a day.  I don't know how they have my cell number, but they call and when I answer they hang up. I wish they would stop

I received a call from this number 3 times, the first time I answered, the person stated she was representing Excel Energy and "we are by law to inspect your indoor and outdoor meters.  We have some times available next week between 8am and 11:30am, etc."  I told the person I wanted to speak with my family first and she seemed annoyed and asked when she could call back.  Since the first call, she has tried back 2 times.  I'm on the phone now with Excel Energy to determine if this is a hoax.  Seems it is.  Very scary.  Never let anybody into your house!

Wow I'm glad I tried to search the number before I called it back... This number just called me.  I won't be calling it back.

All of a sudden I have several numbers from across the country calling my cell phone!  This number calls me several times a week!  I have never answered (thank goodness) and it never leaves a message.  I wish it would stop!

Since October 9th, this company has called me four times. Today I googled the number and found out that it is a telemarketing company that appears to have hacked the DNC list. If they call and do not answer, they refuse to leave a message. If you do answer, they typically hang up right away. Their only purpose is to simply waste your cell phone minutes. You can either call the number back to request your number be taken off the list or email them at info@customerlinkone.com. don't answer if they call!

I've had 5-10 calls from this number, I never answer and wait for them to leave a message.  Needless to say they never have so this is obviously a number that has no business calling me for any reason.

Got another call from 218-740-2135. They hang up as soon as I answer.

This number has called twice in the past 24 hours.  I answered the second time and he said he was from Xcel Energy and wanted to know if we could set up a time to let the gas man in to inspect the meters.  I told him I was not the landlord and asked if this was a telemarketing call.  He got pretty rude and explained himself again.  I told him it was not my position to be letting people in to my building.  The scary thing is is that he knew my name and my address.

I received a call three times during the last two weeks in the late afternoon from 218-740-2135 with my ID saying it's a "MINNESOTA CALL." I normally screen my calls not answering numbers I don't recognize, but they never leave a message on my phone answering machine so I guess it's not that important.

I received a call from 218-740-2135 and there was no response when I answered the phone.  So, I called the number back I had on my called ID and received a voice mail with instructions. I opted to speak to a customer rep who said I would be removed from their list.  Hope so... I was nice and so were they.

Give them a call and they will take you off their list hopefully.  I am on a no call list.

I just received a call from this # and when I answered they hanged up. I was reading through the comments here and was wondering is there any similarities between everyone here. I'm also on the no call list. Sounds like somebody needs to go after this link one company to stop them.

We have been receiving calls from this number, but when we pick up, no one answers.

I received a call from this number my caller ID says it is a Minnesota call, no message was left.  I am on my state and the federal no call list.  I have reported the number to my state attorney general's office as a tell-a-marketer that is violating the no call list.

How can you report or block this number?

I am on both the state and federal DNC lists.  When I have answered, there is never anyone there, just a click and a dial tone.  When I have not answered, they never leave a message.  For those of you who have called this number back and asked to be removed from their call list, did it work?
