Come up n Caller ID as Autism Aware

They called caller ID just says Indiana call. They did not leave a message.

I have been ignoring these calls from Gary Indiana because it is unknown to me and they never leave a message.  I finally called the number and it says it is the Autism Foundation - Autism Awareness Campaign. Got a recording, but now I know that I can block this call without missing anything important.  I am aware of autism and care about it, but not the calls. :D

Getting several calls a day and night, usually 8 to 845pm MST several times a week from different numbers in Gary, In. From checking on the numbers they seem to be from the same people. Never leave a message.
219 292-4306, 4783, 4417, 4780, and 810-6278. All from the same place and no message. Fed up with them. Figure it is a telemarketer.

I blocked the entire area code (219).  I don't know anyone from Gary, IN.  I laugh at all the calls that get blocked since the phone never rings.  They can use all the numbers they want, but they're only wasting their time.  I use the Digitone Call Blocker 10 along with a Panasonic call blocking cordless phone system.  It's easy to setup, and it works.

Pretty much the same experience as other callers. ID came as Autism Aware.   Phone rings but no one leaves a message.  Don't have time for stuff.

It is a fake Autism Charity, not real. A real charity would not call many times in one day. A real charity would leave a message on your voicemail.  If my caller i.d. says something that is not familiar to me I do not pick it up. If it is real, they leave a message and I can call it back if I wish.

This said "Gary, IN" and I don't know a sole in Gary, IN. I googled it and it said it was an Autism Awareness charity. I knew from previous times that they are not real.

Just because they say they are a charity, does not mean they are. Do not believe it. They just want your money.

I have been getting a lot of calls from this number.  How do you block a number or whole area code.  Thanks !!!!

These  calls are a real pain!  Blocked all 4 numbers 219-810-6278, 219-292-4306, 219-951-4780,4783 and 4417.  Now I am going to see if there is someway to shut them down!!!!

Even sending a complaint to the FCC does nothing.   Another scam but when they have the name of the street you live on, it's scary!   Filed with the FCC, now let's see what they do (or don't do) about it!     It sure must be hot (given the weather we're experiencing nowadays) in the storage unit they are calling from as that is where the phone numbers are generated from when you google search the various numbers these individuals call from!!!

Annoying calls 3 to 4 times a day and even on Sundays!  Always comes up "anonymous".

They will not stop calling....Even after you request it...

this number came up I did not answer because the line for the name is anonymous I don't answer those calls but I a wondering who it might be, number 3 minutes earlier was 954-491-4088 and the same number for their name who ask for my husband by name, I ask if I could take a message they sure and hung up, that number is a landline from Fort Lauderdale FL. in looking that # up they also had 2 other numbers, so when the next number came is so close I wonder if it is the same person using another number as a mention I don't answer anonymous. I should have I heard the mans voice.

I get calls from this number almost everyday...at all different times. I do not answer,as my
caller Id. shows the number & I know it is not anyone that I know. Just got another call, at
4:25ish on a SUNDAY afternoon. I am on the Do Not Call list, plus what legitimate Company calls morning, noon and night...And now on Sundays???? Never leaves a message, hangs up, without leaving a message on recorder!!!!
Please register me as VERY ANNOYED!!

Tired of being interrupted first in a.m., Sunday evenings, etc.  We are on the DO NOT CALL list for a reason.  We don't mind donating to charities, but we take care of them locally.
