I live in Canada, and this morning I received a call from this number. A man in broken English stated that my computer was full of viruses, etc. which he could fix. I replied, "Why don't you quit deceiving people and get a real job?" He then said, "Can you give me a job?" I asked where he lived, and he replied, "India." I told him I was retired and had no job for him. He then asked, "Can you help me in any other way? All I need is food."

I didn't know whether or not he was being honest. Later I checked the area codes in India and 223 is not among the codes for the major cities.

Got a call to-day, March 26, fellow spoke with east Indian accent, said my computer was filled
with viruses. Told him that is not true, I am on NCL & will report him he calls again

Got a call May 1.  Man who did not speak English told I have to buy a new computer because it was filed with viruses.  Told him to call me back later.  He keeps calling my husbands cell phone also.

Got a call this morning at 4:59 answered the call but no one was there. I sure would like to find out who these people are so I can make there life miserable.

I received a phone call at 7:00am this morning in Ontario from 223-300-2233. At first there was no sound on the line...then harp music began playing...I knew it wasn't heaven calling, so I hung up.

Apparently area code 223 is in the country of Mali, next to Nigeria..

Got a call from 223-300-2233.  A broken english speaking male tried to convince my my computer was infeced with virus and he was going to fix it for me.  Stated he was from microsoft technical sdupport center. He even gave me their phone number to call . Said his name was megrider???  that his microsoft id number was MC/3764T.  He wanted me to verify who he was by comparing my compter id with one he would provide me.  Didn't beleive him and hung up.  Watch out for this!!

These people have called me twice this week - both times woke my up.  Once at 7 am and this morning (Saturday) at 5 am.  Then when I answered they hung up on me.  Maddening!

Just got a call from this number.  It is not even 8am.  Said hello...nothing.  Said hello again and got some lovely harp music, but then some guy who could barely speak english came on and asked for my husband.

When i told him he wasn't home he hung up.

My father called Microsoft for help with windows. About 15 minutes after he got off, this number called. Said he could fix it for about 12 bucks. My dad said no problem we can swing that. Well he tried to get 500 out. The bank didn't allow it, and my dad cancelled both debit cards. He called back later and started to curse at us....saying he would empty the bank account. Needless to say, he is a scammer.
