I got this call from +2239875001 on my cell Caller ID, but I didn't pick up the phone, just wondering anyone got this call.

The number called me 3 times!! Who the hell is this!????

Ok everyone, I did some research on the 2239875001 telephone number and was able to find that the company tied to 2239875001 is called MRS Associates.  MRS Associates is a Collection Agency and is located out of Cherry Hill, NJ.  The reason you are either receiving a no anaswer, placed on hold, disconnected or have static/line noise is that MRS Associates outsources their outbound calls to India so when the 2239875001 number appears on your caller id, plan on it being a call from MRS Associates in India!...

yeah, it's MRS, and if you google MRS associates and call them they'll remove your name from their list

Oh my GOOD!!! This people call to my offices so manny times!!!! i dont answer, If I dont know the name, no way!! But I imagine that is a collection agency, with some people that even dont speak english .

I read that is a company call MRS asso. well they never leave a message.

I am on the line with my cell provider T Mobile and they are telling me so far that this is an international call FROM GHANA !!!!!!

We all have come across and heard about how this is the number one place for scams on the internet and very elaborate ones... DATELINE NBC has been going an expose on this situation and investigation along with the FBI for the past year and actually has been flying around the world to places that are leads with addresses etc. trying to find the people doing these scams... contact them and leave your story so that they can hear that this no too is coming out of Ghana.. maybe it might be found to be connected to these scam rings

I'll do u one better.  I decided to just call 223-9875 as a local number to see who was calling me - and it dailed me DIRECTLY into my voice mail.  It didn't "call my home" it went right to my voice mail message box and asked for my pin number to access my messages

I called the phone company, cust. service rep googled the number, saw all these complaints and said that lots of people are having problems with this

But she says that she checked the local numbers for this particular number and it just HAPPENS to be the one of the same exact numbers used to dial into your voice mail remotely.....I didn't even know this number.   I would normally just call my home phone, wait for the message, over ride it and dial into voice mail.

Very, very strange that this number that these companies are using as a scam or for collections, that if I dial it locally it accesses my voice mail.

Wow I have been recieving calls from this number*2239875001 for about 2 weeks about 3-5 times daily! Never leaves a message. I answered today the lady who called was looking for someone else other than myself. I explained this was a fairly new phone and I was not who she was looking for. She very rudley demanded to know what my name was and when I recieved the phone. T told her a couple of weeks ago she again very rudley said she spoke with "Heather" at this number and again demanded to know who I was! I then hung up on her and googled the number. I called 888.334.5677. Thanks we will see if the calls stop.

I usually get at least 5 calls a day ranging from morning to night.  if i answer its usually a dead line then an international number will call within seconds and have someone on the line.  seems like a debt collection but the people they are looking for do not live here.  My name is not very common, I can only imagine all the calls smith or johnson must get. Just ignore those SOBs it's for sure some nigerian advanced fee scam!

stop calling me.  I picked up the phone at about 12:50pm today and the person hung up.  It should as unknown caller.

I just received two calls on my cell phone and had my number removed (So they say) from their call list.  Everything said about this being an outsourced company for MRS is correct.  I called MRS and after a dozen rings a young woman picked up and identified the company as MRS Associates.  After explaining my situation and her acting dumb she finally forwarded the call to someone who sounded Indian who corrected the problem.

the #2239875001 is about your debt that you owe to the car company or cc company thats why they are callimg they dont have a list it's from the info you gave when you got the credit card or when you got the car.Again there is no call list eveyone who posted on here know they owe there debt call these companies set something up and clean your credit(STOP BEING A DEAD BEAT)

Again THERE IS NO LIST,MRS get the info from the info you gave when got the car and the reason why they called about the car is because it was repo,#2-their calling about the credit card you stop paying your monthly bill on and that info comes from the credit card company,and the people on the phone are just doing a job,if it's a wrong number be nice tell the person and it will be taken care of,but most people yell cuss and are rude(you do know you are recorded when you answer,and the credit card or bank id your # and it's you)just explain and work something out belive it or not there are people there that will help with small payments and help you with your credit.So again THERE IS NO CALL LIST-you owe the debt just work it out and pay it because in the end the credit card-man and bank-man will get there money$$$$$$$$

+2239875001 is outside of the US.  It's the collection department for Applied Bank.  If you have an account with Applied Bank, I'm truly sorry as they have outsourced their collection department.   The two men I spoke to have no idea what the credit card laws are in the US.  They threatened me with a charge off.
