Gives 'Shawn Price' as a name and asks for owner of business and then hangs up - thought it was strange, so tried to look him up to see if he was a customer, and he is not.

Gave "Radio Station 1450 AM" as a name and asked for business owner and then hung up.

I answered, He's she is is the owner there, my name is Pat Cook, and I'm working on a community project.  Would not leave a number, since we have several numbers, He called again, and I said if you call this number once more you will get a  big surprise.

I keep a whistle near by and blow to try to deter repeat calls.  

I get at least 15-20 calls per day from difference unknown callers, multiply that by the number of phone lines we have its out of control.  I's sure we are loosing real customer calls.  and in some cases, I, not knowingly, could be rude to someone who is actually a legitamate caller or potential customer.

What can be done about this??

SICK OF THEIR CALLS!!!  NEver leave a message, multiple calls!!!!

They are a sales company for radio ads. They claim they are giving your company an opportunity to put ads on the radio to support things like drunk driving and the like. I let them do it once. The second time, I asked them to send me an email with the information. Instead, they just ran the ad. Now they want money which they are getting none. But they call 2 or 3 times a day.

Caller says he is from CSN news - very casual and familiar, as if I knew him.  Two mornings in a row.

Same thing as above...asked for owner and then went on about community service project...when i said the owner is in and out he quickly said he would try back later and hung up.

" Johnny" Called and started trying to sell the office his services. Would not let me get a word in edge wise. So I hung up on him. He called me right back asking why I hung up on him and then for the owner. I told him the owner had left and he told me " I have his cell and he will be hearing about this" my boss was really amused since he has no idea who this person is. I really hope he calls again so I can tell him where to go.

I'm in the glass business and this guy calls and asks for the owner, I told him that he was out all day, and he asks if i have his cell phone number and i say yes, and nothing more.  So finally he says that he is working on a project with us, glass tinting or something.  So i tell him that he would need to speak to me as i am the glass manager (we have another business at the same locatioon) and he says that he spoke with a man.  I asked what his name was and he didnt know!  So finally after going back and forth, i ask for his number and tell him the owner will call back and thats when he hung up on me.  Sounds like they lie according to what your business is.

This call keeps coming to My cell phone late hours and really early in the morning. I call it back and it sounds like a fax machine

Company just called our company.  Asked right away to speak with an owner, which happens to be my father.  The caller said he was "Mike Wilson" ... as much a common name as you can get.  He was very rude and would not get off the phone.  Put the call through to my father, who asked to speak to a supervisor.  The supervisor sounded as young and rude as "Mike Wilson".  I believe this company to be a scam.

Caller identified himself as "Frank" and asked for the owner. He came across as if the owner should know him.  I told him the owner is never here and was there something I could help him with.  They are working on a community service project involving school zones and speeders.  

Sounds like a scam to me.

Call often and they never leave a message. Caller ID has the phone number, and Cellular Call.

Said he was from a radio station and asked to speak to owner. I am the owner, then he hung up. Calls two or three times a day. Who is this clown?

Today was the second day he called. Couple days ago, the call came from the same number and he hung up as soon as I answered the phone and announced our business name.  I dialed back and got a fax squeal.  Today, the same thing happened, and I decided to do a web search on the number.  While reading this page, he called again, asked for the person in charge. Wouldn't leave a message when I told him the boss works in the field and I can't predict when he'll be in. He asked when he comes in in the morning. I gave him the same answer. Said he'd try again. Seemed polite, but I'm sick to death of these calls!

Sean Price calls. Says he is from "THE SCORE" radio station and asks for the owner. Then he hangs up.

Caller asked if owner was here. I said no, said they will call back and hung up. Tried calling back and got fax machine noise.

"Pat Cooke" called.  Said he was with a radio station and working on a community service project.  As he was reading the ad as it would sound on the radio (Great voice!) I googled the number and came here.  Obviously, I turned him down after reading what everyone has written.

I would love to give back to the community.  It's a shame we can't trust anyone anymore!

I know the people very well, i've been doing this with sean price for 3 years now. the company is totally legit and do very nice work for the kids in the community. I don't know why they are getting a bad rap. they have new people helping them out so those guys are probably just learning. try cutting them some slack

I actually work for the company that calls you guys and for those who think it is a scam you could not be more wrong. We do this program for kids and for safety. We are not telemarketers at all. How we call people they think we our telemarketers so we have to present ourselves in a different manner because its frustrating when people think we our a scam or just want money that isnt the case at all. We buy spots off of radio stations to improve the communtiy nothing more than that.
