Calling every 2 hours...I called it back and got "Colorado Polytechnic Online"

they called 3 days in a row, all pratcially at the same time, but I dont answer. they leave no messages

They keep calling me also and I am also not answering

Called me twice today. First time no one was there; second time they asked for "Willy", whom I don't know.

Called me today, I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.  Sneaky hunch...I had just completed an online job application (minutes before) that required me to complete a section in continuing education online.  Selected Colorado University ... just because I thought it would hurt my chances for consideration of the open position if I didn't show an interest in continued ed. My belief is the owner of the number is Colorado University.  The area code; however, is out of the Chicago, IL area, according to AnyWho.com.

This number keeps calling me also. I wish they would stop.  I hate it.  Thanks for giving me more info on this, since I don't answer strange numbers.

This number keeps calling me, at least 3 times a day, and it is calling on Sundays also.
I don't pickup the phone unless I know the number.   And it never leaves a message either.

Someone from this number calls me 2 or 3 times a day and even on Sundays. I do not answer becuase I do not recognize the number. I have however tried to call it back and when I do I get the ever famous recording (this call may be monitored or recorded.) Something needs to be done. They never leave messages or anything.

I have this number call 4 to 5 times a day. I started picking it up and dailing random numbers.

These people keep calling all day long they won't leave a message I don't answer phone calls that I don't know and don't leave messages. 224-653-7000 first calls then a 602-713-1906 calls immediately after this. Again they call all day. I have even answered the phone and hung up on them. They don't get a hint. I had applied for a job online and ever since this, these two numbers have called me ever since. They just won't give up and I am never going to answer my phone. I so glad they don't have my work number they would really piss me off if they called that number. why won't they give up...

i think i've received a call from 224-653-7000 like a hundred times, and never leaves a message, how the hell do i stop it?????????!!!!!!!!!!

Ive received 7 calls in 2 days from this number and would like it to stop.  If anyone has had success in getting them to stop, let me know.  Tired of hitting my IGNORE button.. I have a father who is sick and I need to leave my cell on and they are making these annoying calls.. I never asked for any information from any University.. Stop the madness!!!

This computer genrated call comes from Colorado online school.  I submitted an application for a JOB and they sold my info to this school. If you are getting calls, its because this school in buying names and numbers from the internet.

This number calls me several times a day.  When I don't answer my home number it calls my cell phone.  I also submitted an online application and ever since this number calls.  They never leave a message and even when I have answered the phone no one is there.  If anyone knows how to make it stop I would like to know.

It's sad when the schools have to result to getting enrollment information from someone applying for a job. I'm unemployed and it seems as though every job that looks good, ends up being something from one of these online schools. The numbers I keep receiving calls from are the following;
602-713-1906 & 224-653-7000, and they don't have enough respect to leave a message so if you were interested you could call them back.

Thanks to all the other comments, I know I'm not alone in the harassment from this number! They call several times a day! Everyday! I've even tried answering and blowing on a whistle. They still keep calling. I wish it would stop!!

They ca;; me at;east twice a week, but it omly rings a half a time, so i don't even get a chance to pick it up. i wish i could so i could say something.

I believe it's Colorado Technical University.  Like another reviewer, I had filled out a job application that "wanted to know" if I was interested in additional education.  I picked CTU by chance and now they won't leave me alone.

Just filled out an application for the arts institute and they called just now.  I don't like those crazy #'s but I am glad you ladies and gentlemen have cued me in.  If you find out how to stop it,please let me know.

Hello Everyone in Cyberspace!  Just like you, I receive these calls everyday and yes its Colorado Technical Institute.  I'm sure many have applied for jobs online and never received any response from the job advertiser and somehow you get the annoying calls from the 224 number.

I went to the Colorado Technical Institute website and clicked the link to Colorado Tech Online.  I called 1-800-416-8904 for Admissions.  I spoke with a representative.  I'm not sure if she's one of the representatives or main receptionists.  I told her that I was receiving numerous calls and I wanted my name to be removed from the list.  She took my telephone number and said it should be removed in 24 hours.  Let's see what happens after 24 hours.  

So if this doesn't work guys at least there is a solid point of contact and you can complain to the Federal Trade Commission.  After everyone receives the telephone number above, I think that Colorado Tech Online will find another alternative route where the telephone is not involved.  

Just dial the number above and ask them to remove your name from the list, if it doesn't work at least you know whom to contact to stop the harrassment.  So sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful karma.  Phone calls will be pouring in to all admissions reps asking to have their names removed.  I'm sure they are not going to have a good time with this and they will feel what it's like to be on the other end of being constantly called and harrassed.
