I live in Baton Rouge. I called the # and the after hours voice mail came on with the greeting
" you have reached LSU Manship research center. Now the Manships own channel 2 and also The Advocate. When my ID says unknown caller, I pick up and it goes dead. when I try to dial the #, there is no dial, just the dial tone. These folks can grab your telephone line and use it to ride your long distance to anywhere in the world. they especially like those who have unlimited long distance within the states because they figure it's not costing you anything more for them to do that.

who is this? why are they calling me?

These people are supposedly calling for surveys for LSU.  The problem is that the fact that they're doing surveys, doesn't exempt them from harassment laws.  I'm reporting them to the FCC, the FTC, and the state's AG office.

This number, which is identified as LSU keeps calling my number and not leaving a message, last night they called 3 times in less than an hour and it has started again today.

The number called my phone and I didn't answer bc I didn't know it then I looked it up and the internet info all said it was a spam number. This is getting ridiculous and it's just so rude that people try to spam other people!

These people identified themselves as Health And Human Services or the Health Dept. (HHS) wanting to do a survey about healthcare. I suspect it is ACORN.

I am also getting unwanted calls from the number 225-578-8529 it shows LSU on caller ID. They hang up and do not leave a message on the answering machine.  We need to be able to OPT OUT of all these unwanted phone calls!

Theses people are calling and making threats. Saying there from a legal firm in La and will take action if I don't return call to them at 225-578-8529. But there calling me from 866-354-2419. They leave threatening voice mails. I'm unable to get a reason why legal action is being taken as of yet.

I got the same call on Friday. They stated that I have 2 cases pending with them due to fraud. When they asked for my SSN and I said I wouldn't give it them and started asking questions (like whats the name company, where they are located, to send me some kind of proof of debt) they got all pissed and stating that I wasn't cooperating and hung up.

225-578-8529 they keep calling my parents.  I answered this time they are saying they are LSU HEALTH SOMETHING...I told them to stop calling the number and take the number off of their list.  My parents are already on the do not call list.

Continuous calls daily.  Says "I won something" and something about "credit." Cellular call to my "Do Not Call" line.

Calling me multiple times a day for two months now. The caller ID says LSU.

I do not know anyone at LSU nor Louisiana, so I did not answer the phone. They did not leave a message.  I wish the idiots who annoy other people could be caught and sent to Hell, where they would experience misery like they cause other people.  Of course, their misery would be forever.  Yea!

These people call 3 times a night I have only answered once & could tell it was a scam. I want this to stop
