Called my house... wasn't home at the time.  What popped up in the Caller Name started with: V09271 and about 10 other digits after that.

Has called my house a number of times....the caller ID is V11301533410039 for the call today.....V11301318400039 that called 2 hours ago...V11291935150039 that called at 7pm last night...This is ridiculous, and is bordering on harassment...They will not leave a message, and when I picked up the last call a few min ago, I could hear someone there but they would not say anything. Have called my house 5 times in the last 24 hours

Same here...Same number different  "V123".
The third time they called I had to fart so bad so i let a loud one when i answered and they never called me again so far.
hahaha i bet they smelt that bad air through the phone...

I called the number 226 289 2444 with a free internet online phone and a machine answered sounded like she said cloaking charity or something couldn't quite understand what she was saying.
You have a choice to press 1 2 or 3 i press 3 to talk to somebody and when he got on the phone i said how was the sound of my fart on his ear HE HUNG UP...

Nice Panasonic phone allowed me to recall the number, and force a call-block.
Not a bad charity, but as (others) above also indicated, WHY? the spoofed ID?

This number has called 3 times today. I let it go to the answering machine but they never leave a message.  The series of numbers across the top of the screen are v01201527500046.  Obviously a telemarketer but as we are on the DNC list, I'd like to know how they get the number!

I called this back and the message says that it is the "community clothing center" and if they called you, they will be in the area collecting clothing.

226-289 is hosted by fibernetics corporation in London Ontario--so it is probably VOIP service--another phone company supplying cut throat reseller services. Not a traditional phone company.

Called when we were out and message left which was grabble.  Thank goodness for caller ID and our number showed VO6011842180069 and the 800 number showed 1-226-289-2444.

Just received a call from V1228193815010 (226) 289-2444. Picked up the phone but they would not answer. Very annoying.

ditto as everyone else. They are not a charity. They will pick up clothes, sell them to Value Village and keep the money themselves. They are trying to piggy-back on the legit charities that do the same like Cebral Palsey and Diabetes Association.

this number is a community clothing charity..they are calling for donations of clothes and small items for pick up.

They are a legit Charity and actually give the clothes away for FREE for people in need.  I have donated many of times in the London area.  They have 2 Centers in London and are trying to get more open thru Ontario  Here is the Website have a look  communityclothingcentre.org

I heard that they pick those donated clothing of better conditions and sell them to those under-developing countries for good money by container loads. For those that are in poor conditions, they dump them to Salvation Army or Goodwill, who will have to take care of the garbage.
