Local paper distribution company.

I am receiving three calls a day from this company even though I told someone to take me off their call list.  I continue to get calls that are hangups and if I try to call back it just rings forever.  How can I make it stop?

I'm getting calls more and more frequently on my cell phone from this number for no reason, even though my number is on the Do Not Call Registry.

If you receive unwanted calls from this number please email me at danielle.rodier@pilotonline.com with the number called and I'll request you be placed on The Virginian-Pilot's do not call registery.

I have received several calls from this number - what gives??  If I answer the phone, no one is on the other line.  Is someone check up on my phone?? Should I be concerned?

Too many calls from this number at different times of the day.  Hang ups and no response.  Time to notify the FCC and initiate a case

I tried several times to call the number back but there was no answer. I would like for it to stop as well.

Same exact situation.  I've been getting about 2-3 of these calls per day.  It is outrageous!  No ones ever on the other end and if i call back its either busy or rings forever. MAKE IT STOP ASAP!!!

Received a hang up call this morning from 229-435-217o.  "Ciculations In" on called ID.  From the other reports here it is probably calling on contract for my local newspaper.  I will raise hell with them.  Unfortunately, I already paid to renew my subscription.

I got a call today from 229-435-2170. There was no message. When I called this number back, there was no answer or a busy signal. I am on the don not call list.
Please help stop this nuisance.

I have the same problem... this 299-435-2170 number called today... I didn't know who it was so i called back and got no answer. I know that i don't know anyone by this number.

I have received 10 total phone calls since 8/21 from this number.  When I answer, no one is there and no one picks up when I return the call.  If it is a telemarketer, I am on the do not call list and want my wishes honored.

[***]....Ive already sent an email to pilot and these calls keep on...I have filed a complaint with the NC Attorney Generals office....its a damn shame to go to all this trouble just to get someone to quit calling and the irony of it all is they dont leave a message and wont answer when I pick up the phone.....what a crock

have you figured out a way? You are right they are awful.
