These people are from Epixtar and have been calling my home for a week or so. I have not answered until this morning and told them I am on the "do not call list" and not to call me again. Hope it works.

They claim to be from shopping essentials - who the heck is that?   I told them to take me off the call list but they keep calling me!!

I just received such a call. I am pretty sure i know where they got my information from. A purchase i made. When i made this purchase i had to jump through a TON of pages asking me to upgrade my purchase of a shoulder bag. I really hated the hoops. at least 6 windows I had to click through. THEN they have this additional party call me. Asking to purchase a discount card that will be cancelled if i do not like it....

I got a call from this number but no one said any thing, the number held on until I disconnected the call..

I rec'd a call this afternoon in reference to a wal-mart card that my stepfather had used and paid for, yet the caller tells me that there was a glitch in thier system and he did not have the actual card in his possession and they just wanted to verify info w/me in order to get it to him. The problem is the caller was very inappropriate in his conversation w/me. He was very illicit and graphic  about oral copulation, regular sexual acts, and anything else you could imagine, if that is at all possible. I was too outdone and a bit on edge being that I was home alone and this person knew my address.

I have never had the pleasure of speaking to anyone.  They do not leave a message and continue to call after following prompt to delete me from calling list.  Call last evening was a hang up call as soon as I answered.  I believe this is borderline harassment, and I would love the opportunity to speak to someone.  If anyone is taking the liberty to give out numbers, I hope they to are aware of the consequences.

They called my number as well.  As soon as I said 'this is me'. They hung up. So rude and so inconsiderate.  They got my info because of a purchase I made from Shopping Essentials. I you see 'Shopping Essentials' products. Do not ever buy it.

They called twice today without leaving a message and I wouldn't answer not knowing who it was. When I checked my phone for all calls to see if I could find out who it was, my phone says it was a place called Guardian Comm. Googled that name to no avail. After reading the complaints here, I expect I will be getting more calls from them. Maybe if I don't answer every time, they will stop bothering me. I hope so.

I too have received a number our calls from 231-224-2099. The caller ID reads GUARDIAN COMM. My wife answered the first time they called sometime around the end of April. After she said hello, they said they would "call back at a better time". This was suspicious. A few days later they called back and asked her to take a survey of some kind. Fortunately she declined. Since that time they have called on May 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9 based on our missed call list on caller ID. They called again today and I answered. I spoke to a man with a middleeastern accent. He said something about a Walmart gift card. I asked that he take us off their calling list. I do not know how they got my name or number, but as someone else mentioned in this thread I did recently purchase one of those upside-down tomato plant hangers (the Topsy-Turvey) and I seem to recall something about Shopping Essentials. the calls stared sometime after that purchase.

Same thing here.  My wife just ordered those Aqua Globe plant watering things that she saw on TV.  Said she had to endue high pressure sales from the order taker on the phone trying to give her some membership in a shopping essentials program.  We are now getting the calls, Indian accent who slaughtered the pronunciation of my wife's name so I told them that no one by that name lives here.  Hope that's the end of it.

I just ordered the Aqua Globes last week, and have begun receiving calls from this number too. They have called 3 times now, but I have not answered it. I will certainly answer now, and be sure to tell them not to call again.

Aqua Globes should be made aware of this situation, and I will be reporting the number to my wireless company. I am not at all happy about this!

I got a call today from this number, it was a man with a middle-eastern accent. He had my tried to get me to confirm my address, but I refused. He promptly hung up the phone. My wife had recently order tupper-ware lids that you just press down and it locks almost anything air-tight off of the T.V. I beleive this is how they got my information.

      The most I can get from free number look-ups, this is a land-line from FREMONT MICHIGAN.

Had a call from 231-224-2009 on my cell phone today.  I have been on the do not call registry since it first started.  The person (with middle-eastern accent) said that due to my recent "Walmart.com" purchase they were sending me a $25 gift card and a "Walmart Discount Card" which would provide me with 30% off all future purchases made at Walmart to try it "Free" for 30 days for $1 (how does that make sense?  Free for $1?)  Anyways, I told her I wasnt interested and she immediately hung up.  Rude....

Got a call, also, no one said anything on the other line. i bought roll-N-Grow, didnt realize this could happenm, but i will never ever leave my real number when i buy something online, usually i dont but this was one of the times i did, big mistake i guess.

I too had this number call me twice a day for three days in a row.  They always call while I'm at work (I can't have my phone in my office), but never leave a message.  I tried the reverse number lookup, but wasn't willing to pay to find out who it belonged to; and I just thought to Google the actual number today.  I also just ordered the Aqua Globes via the internet and then started receiving calls from this number.  I too will write a letter to the Aqua Globes company to inform them of this harassment; it's just uacceptable.

I had a call from this number on my cell phone. I called it back and it was a recording saying "we contacted you for direct marcketing purposes, please press 1 to be removed from our list" so it prompted me to enter the number I dialed to reach them and then enter the number that I wish to be removed. So I did so hope it works, I didn't think you could get sales calls on a cell phone...

I, too, was an idiot and purchased something on-line (a hand bag)!!!  Won't do that anymore!  I have also received phone calls from the numbers below:

I do intend to forward copies of the postings for these numbers to the Attorney General in our State, and my bank.  Everyone should post ALL the numbers they have received such calls from for all to see, and we might be able to get this BS stopped!  PROTECT YOURSELF!!

I had this number call me also.I called it back and got a recording.I took the steps to be removed they haven't called back.
