this number is calling me claiming to be sure that google  is representing my business correctly.  Is this legit?

no what they are doing is illegal, that is why they use a fake number.

I don't know why Google doesn't persue these types of idiots in court for stating any kind of reference to them when they do not have google's permission nor are they associated with google

Got a call 4/1, no msg. Called them back on 4/2 and recording said to press 9 to be added to their Do Not Call List.

4/10/15 I called back the ph#, and rec'd same message as VJ above did.  I did not press 9, and then an automated message came back on and said "you did not press 9, you have a problem".

"Diane" for professional carpet steam cleaning in two rooms for only $49 and the hallway thrown in for free "just for listening to this message."  Not once does she mention the name of her carpet cleaning service but at least she's truthful about wanting to add me "...to her growing list of satisfied customers..." which probably translates to maxing out your credit card and more calls from every other telephone scammer who can push a dial pad.

Of course "Diane" ignores the Federal Do Not Call list, which certainly tells you something about her business ethics, doesn't it?

"Hi. This is Diane. I'm calling to see if you need your carpet professionally steam cleaned at a great price. Right now I'll steam clean two rooms of carpeting for just $49. Our cleaning process is fast drying and 100% safe for kids or animals, and we also clean upholstery, area rugs, drapery and tile floors. Because you've been kind enough to listen to my message, I'll clean the hallway for free. I just want a chance to add you to a growing list of satisfied customers who appreciate good service and a great price. Please press 1 to make an appointment."

Caller ID:   (231) 383-8060  and  “WEB RANKING”  Left no VM. Reported by others as using a “spoof” number and purporting to represent Google. Blocked them on my VoIP software.

I'm on the do not call list but I keep getting calls from this number. The caller says, Hi, This is diane. I'm so sick of these calls when I am on the do not call list. I know it's a carpet cleaning service. When I've asked to be removed or ask for supervisor, they disconnect me. Where's the regulations to stop these people when the calling number is known????

I never answer a number I don't know cause if you do they call back and sell your number to others to make money.

Received call on my land line from 231-383-8060.  No message left.  They hung up when the answering machine kicked on.  Blocking # now.

I get calles from this number, I know it is a scam and would like it to discontinue.

Carpet cleaning scam. When I pressed "1" to schedule an appointment a young girl answered and I asked if she knew I was on the "Do Not Call List" and was immediately hung-up on.

Got a missed call from 231 383 8060. When I googled the area code right after the chrome app just froze and wiped out my history.

I just got this call too.  Left no message.  When I called back, no ring tone.  Just dead silence.
