Preferred Empire Mortgage trying to sell me a sub-prime Mortgage

WANTED TO VERIFY SOMETHING ON MY MASTER CARD.
GAVE THEM NO INFO AND TOLD THEM THAT A CHARGE
BETTER NOT SHOW UP ON MY CARD. sAID THEY WERE
WITH GOLZ.
HUNG UP

They called me regarding my Visa card and said they wanted to give me a gift for keeping the card for a long time. I hung up. Don't trust them.

I have been receiving this call on a daily basis.  Make it stop!!  I never answer a number that I am unfamiliar with.  I figure if they need me they can leave a message and they never do.  Sounds fishy to me.

calls all the time doesn't leave a message.  sounds like a scam....phishing for info maybe.  I never get a chance to answer the call in time to give them a piece of my mind.  I will be sure to get someone on the phone next time though from the looks of the other experiences I've read about.

I wasn't sure if this is the same nightmare calls I have been getting from other mystery numbers, but the above descriptions convince me it is -- I made the stupid mistake of ordering a "Buxton Bag" from the website -- and I've been receiving these calls ever since (and my phone is a cell phone!) They have some fairly alarming info about your card, and then eventually launch into a pitch for a time share, or other product -- I've told them they are calling a cell, that I'm on the "no call" list (I've put my cell number on there repeatedly, even though you're not supposed to need to do this), told them to stop calling me, and screamed like a crazy person at them, and still they keep calling. All I can say is that buying "as seen on TV" stuff off the internet is a very bad idea, because this can happen to you, and there appears to be no way to stop it.

Called and immediately Hung up...

I get a call from this number at least twice a day...when I answer they hang up...I stopped answering....why cant we report this to the phone company?

Receive 2 calls every Saturday. Leaves no messege

I was just hit with this phone number.  I answered the call but no one said anything. I get the feeling that I am going to be receiving this call on a regular basis now just like you guys have.

I get atleast 2 calls on a daily basis, even on Sundays, never pickup. I tried calling back and it goes some marketing department. Never left a message.

Call me 2 time, and didn't left any messages.
Third time when I picked up, woman try to verify my Master Card info,
but I do not have one, then a woman tell me my last 4 digits of my Visa,
and she wants to send me a $300 voucher for gas,
but she wants to charge me $3 for shipping and handling.
Only what she need that is the place where can they delivered.
The woman was not able to explain me why does she want to give me FREE $300 GAS VOUCHER, so I hang up.
 I don't know how they grab my cell number and credit card number,
but I change me credit card.

Get a call from this number every other day and it is begining to get on my nerves. I don't pick up because I don't recognize the number. I wish it would just stop!

This started after calls from a 631 area code stopped. It is on my cell and I have hung up on the number enough times, that when my phone starts to ring with a call from this number, my phone hangs up. I've never spoken to anyone from this number and when I tried calling it back, there is just dead air.

i answered the phone call from 2317322640 but caller did not respond. i am sure this will continue

got a call from this number and a guy was on the line.  so I called him back but no one answered.  I know its a scam.  I've been getting calls like this for a month now, only from difference area codes with numbers that are "no longer in use".  Very weird!  I googled the numbers and found out a lot of people are getting these calls.  It's so damn annoying!  does anyone know what to do?  AT&T has no solution.

I also rec'd the call asking for another person I just got this phone and phone number.  The are saying they are from gold or golz visa card.  I told if they call again i will call the law enforcement.

I got this call at 8pm 10/22/08.  A woman called me by name and knew my last four digits of my real visa.  She said she is from Gold Coast Visa and wanted to reward me for long use on my real visa with a $300 gas card.  It sounded like a scam so I told her I didnt want it and didnt want anything charged on my visa card.  She got rude and said "if you dont want to listen then goodbye."  I think this is a scam and seeing the other messages, I am convinced.  I will never put my phone number on any website again, geez!!

I received two calls from this number and they hung up on me
