Yes states it is ssi, scam!!!!!!

CID said SSI. I don't answer these calls but picked up on this one thinking it was legit. A guy with a heavy foreign accent said right away this was not a sales call then asked for my husband by name. When told he wasn't available, he said he'd call back later. I think it's a scam call because auto dialer is used, long pause before someone picks up. Number comes back to Baldwin, MI which is close to us, we'll see...

The Caller ID says SSI  
I believe this is a Scam Call, especially after reading others getting the call from the same number.   It happens often and I won't answer the telephone when I see this and 866 numbers on the Caller ID.

Me too...I did a reverse  check and it is a Baldwin, MI telephone number.  I don't answer & that's good advice..

Received many calls from this number and from 231-331-8697 and 231-745-5603 - all showing SSI on caller ID and never leaving a message. Tried calling these numbers back but got a recording for Survey Sampling International. There was a link to opt out from receiving their phone calls. As I was typing out my "leave me alone" request they called again so I actually talked to a real person. She was very nice and said she would take care of my request for no more phone calls from them.

I answered and they identified themselves as Survey Sampling International.  It was a quick political survery, which I choose to do, about the upcoming election for governor and state representative

CID said SSI. I don't answer any of these calls. Not interested in what they're selling or surveying.

It's a survey call.   I don't even pick these calls up.  

CID said SSI. Survey about 9 minutes long. Told them I didn't have time and hung up.

Called me yesterday around 5:30. Said she was from such-and-such survey company asking for the "adult male "of the household. Even though I'm married, I told her "there isn't one" and she thanked me and hung up. Got called again tonight around the same time. Didn't answer.

Scam call.  Block this number from your phone system.

Keep getting this number calling,how can it be stopped?

Caller ID said SSI.  No idea who that is.  I blocked the #.

If you read the other posts you would know who it is.

I answered the call and the man at the other end was very polite actually. I could here a bunch of other people in the background however and it sounded as if they were having a party, and I told the guy that I was going to have to cut him off because, "You're just partying man." It was a call looking for your point of view on national affairs and politics etc.
