I have had three collect calls from this number. The computerized voice says "Collect call from" and when whomever is supposed to speak their name, there is just rustling sounds. I always decline.

I called and found this number is associated with Gulf Coast Readers.  Their contact information is:

An internet search on the company yields numerous complaints saying the company uses scam methods to sell magazines.  Also, their official website has broken links to pages "customer service" and "about  us".  Interesting.

This company is Gulf Coast Readers.  They have a reputation for harassment and evasive tactics.  Complaints can, and SHOULD, be filed at the following agencies:

been receiving this number on my cell phone want it to be removed immediately dont know who they are.

I've received 6 calls from these dirtbags already today and still counting. They are alternating calling from two phone numbers. 214-705-3703 and 239-443-3940. No one has my phone number other than my wife to call me for emergencies when I am away from home.

These dirtbags should be very thankful they are not within my reach because if they were my response would be swift and violent!

they call everyday and do not say who they are they even call my daughters number and i did not give her number out

The woman asked me if I was over age 18 and asked for my name.

I've received a couple of calls from this number and am not answering the calls. I am not sure what else to do but just ignore them and hope they go away.

hello. I am writing this to let all know they got my minor son's cell number and calling him asking for me his mom by name.however they did not call my cell.They will be reported My son has had multiple calls he cant even work during the day til he fixed his cell and i'm calling the cell provider i have and blocking them to see if that works.also they hang up on my son and do not left messages he doesnt anwser it....

They have called my home 3 times today already. leave no messages. I think we could all call this harrassment. I hope they get what is coming to them for this activity. I called them back around 4pm and The phone answered like this, "Please hold and a representative will be with you ... you are number 1 in the que." I then hung up. Any company that does not identify themselves when the phone is answered  is not a reputable company in my opinion. And if they do not leave messages it must not be important. Also they called me back after I called... loosers, and not sure how they got my phone number... 239-443-3940

i keep gettin calls from these people and when i answer they hang up , when i call back it says not a working number , i have no idea how they got my cell number , because the only ones that have my number are my family

i was seventh in line when i called, and i waited. finally, a male voice identified himself as "jamie from GCR." i was impressed he identified himself and company after reading all these blogs. when i had made it clear that i had filled out no surveys or gift cards, he tried to convince me to put my wife on. i explained that if she had filled out something, then it was a mistake, and that i am trying to put an end to these calls. he said he would take our number off their call-list, read back my number (obviously they have it), and was professional and polite the whole time. now we just wait and see if he did the right think. update coming.

Got a phone call this morning from 239-443-3940 (Cape Coral, FL).  Said that I had signed up online to receive a $100 WalMart gift card - which I had not.  Told them that I had not signed up for the gift card & told them to take me off of their call list. So bogus!

this stupid number keeps calling... how do they get my number? in the past 3 hours they called five times.... next time im going to give them a mouth full....

Best Buy is behind this.  They ask you to complete a survey and sell your information.  since completing the survey, I've had several calls from who knows who about all kinds of JUNK

Called me three time today.

Been receiving calls from this number so many times.....one time i answered it and they said they are from Gulf Cost Reader...I hang up the phone since i know its another one of those f###ckn telemarketers...I recieved another 3calls from them this am but since i dont always have my cell phone, it showed as missed calls....Just fopr the heck of it, it type in in google search and was really surprised that there are so many of us who have been complaining about this number...how is it that those people in authority have not done anything to stop this when a lot of people are complaining for their indescrimainate calls.

I keep getting endless calls from this number. They go to my vm and leave nothing just
no sound voice mails very very upsetting. Especially when its wee hours of the morning.

got call from this number so many time, couple of times even around 10.00-11.00 PM- missed the call. called back this number - message not a working number.

TODAY - got call 4 time with IN last 1 hours - no body is picking talking at other end. no voicemail..???
