Debt collection agency

This number calls me 1-2 times a day. They never say anything and hang up. When I call back the number isn't working.

i have that same problem.. i call the number back and it says wait a moment a representative will be with you shortly and no one ever answers

If that's who it is Sam, they called here a few months ago for a relative. They refused to answer any of my questions, but wanted me to take messages for him.

There were lots of pauses during the call (either putting me on hold or using a recording system?), but after one of the pauses, the woman told me I could ask them not to call again - which I did. (I then remembered that that is one of the things you can do with debt collectors.)

Now, today, the phone has begun ringing again from that number. When I get to it they hang up. This is the same way it was before. How long does my "do not call me at this number anymore" last? Shouldn't it last forever?

They call and do not leave message on answer machine. I am being hounded by collectors who constantly exchange one debt that has well passed Florida (in my case) statute of limitations for a debt - knowing that they can call forever and be the one-thaousanth owner of the same debt is disheartening. Caller ID just said "Florida Call".

I got a call from this number the woman would not identify herself completey I was being harrased about a 4 year old bill that has been settled When I asked for info to write down her infomation she refused. I was harsh since she was deceitfull on identifying who she was

I am a caregiver of an 82 year old lady. This number calls every day and it is very disturbing to her and me. please stop and remove this number from you list

You want a good one when they call tell them "I must legally inform you this is being recorded for attorney training purposes"

They are bottom feeders, they have purchased debts that are way past the Statute of Limitations, for pennies on the dollar. DO NOT fall for their scare tactics. DO NOT pay them a dime, let them try to take you to court, the judge has to throw it out because of the Statute of Limitations

This number calls constantly and never speaks just hangs up.

I don't understand why a company would call and NOT speak? what is this purpose? this is a serious question. Why? because NO one would sit around calling everyone in the nation as a prank to be listed online (like this site) or be found in law trouble by calling those on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

for there to be an actual website that is merely for unwanted phone calls, there must bea  good reason these people (among all the others) are calling.. but WHAT IS IT!?

So there MUST be a reason? Are they thieves trying to see that someone is home? are they calling to see if its a valid # for some OTHER company to call?

there MUST be a good reason they would pay for all the calls they make.  I just have no valid idea but lots of ideas.

BTW: Ive begun answering the phone saying this, "Congratulations! You are the 1 millionth caller today! You Win ONE CRISP DOLLAR BILL! All you need to do is give us your home phone number and name so we can contact you and send you your winnings"!

BUT, before i get to the word Dollar bill, they have hung up.


another company calls with caller ID "No Name / No Number" and actually says my name into the machine like they are friend. I have no idea who they are and they NEVER leave a reason.
