It is the collection service for Capitol One Credit Cards. They have foreign accents.

this company keeps calling me about someone who does not live with me. They are rude and have even called my inlaws and harasses them. I cant believe this is legal. Its a form of harassment.  I wasnt home the last time they called. I m just waiting for them to call again today so i can give them a peice of my mind!!!

This comes up as a CELLULAR call  240-210-7142..  Strange that a collection agency,  if that is who it is would call from a cell phone.  I have gotten about 2 or 3 of these calls.. I dont know who it is so I dont answer it.  I dont owe anyone any money either.. Strange....

calls frequently regarding balances that are not due. Capital One Card services says that they are not associated with them. Verified 5/509

I received a call today asking for my sister in law- who lives 300 miles away. I gave them no information- except that she was my SIL and lived hours away. They would not tell me why they were calling. They wanted contact info for her. I refused unless they told me WHY they wanted this information. They would not, so I did not and we hung up.

I recieve calls from this number asking for someone that does not live here when I told them there was no such person, the person calling said, "How dare you say that when your being recorded". I hung up after that!

Keeps calling late evenings/weekends - when you'd expect it to be friends/family, especially coming up as a cell phone on caller ID.  I have not picked up because I don't know the number.  I do have an account with Capital One, but it is current; nothing past due.  I can't imagine a legitimate call from them would come at 9 PM from a cell phone...

Do not know they are but from what I have read about It is about a collection for Capital One. I do not have an account with them anymore I do not answer and they do not leave a message. I have gotten three or four call a day for the pass two days.

Got call for another relitive that does not even have anything.. they call late evenings and early mornings, They show no respect.

i called to ask why they call and advised them i am recording the conversation they immediately hung up !

They have called me 6 times a day for the past month, and I've answered almost everytime and inform them I do not have a Capitol One card, nor do I have an interest in opening one. I have one card, which I've had for years, and it's a Citicard and I don't use it. This is ridiculous, and they refuse to tell me why they're calling.

If I have nothing to do and want to bug this people then I answer the phone. I say 'hello', then they ask for me to which I reply 'who's calling', then they say 'is this Liz' to which I reply 'where are you calling from?' So, we go back and forth for at least 4 times, then I get tire of it and either just quietly hung up or curse at them, lol.  Sometimes is fun to mess with these people.

They have been calling about 3 times per day since 9/8/09.  They were asking for my sister.  Why would they call me on my WORK cell phone and ask for my sister.  This was the ONE time I answered by accident.  Ever since then, I don't pick up that number since I saved it on my phone named as "DO NOT ANSWER". Also, I went to Do Not Call Registry and registered my work cell number. Maybe it'll help. Once I get fed up, I might have to show them a different side of me.

Yup, I had a feeling this was Capital One, as I do owe them money.
I noticed that area code is from Maryland, or wherever, but I was like I don't know anyone around there, so I don't pick up.
They do however call numerous times a day, and never leave a message.

I keep receiving rude phone calls fro this number asking to speak with someone I do not know.  I tell them there is no one by that name living here and they just keep asking to speak with him until I finally hang up.

Got 3 calls from them today and we weren't home to answer. Mu husband called them to see why we were getting these stupid calls, got put on hold and a person finally picked up. She asked for his acct # (which he doesn't even have an acct. with them) so he told her he didn't have one and told her that this number keeps calling the house and he wanted to know why. She immediately hung up on him. Interesting....

I keep getting calls from this company on my cell phone asking for a person that I have never heard of.  I tried being nice and explaining that they must have the wrong number and they say that they will remove my number from their records and then about a month later the calls start again.  Today I have had three calls beginning at 8:00AM and I have not been nice at all!!!  I wish I knew what recourse I have.  AT&T told me that they cannot block that number from my line unless I subscribe to a service costing about $5 per month.  Wondering if I should report to the police?

Have 10 calls on the ID from this number. Answered today, asked for my mother-in-law. Advised she does not live here. asked for her number. ( no way i was giving that out ) Told her to give me her number and i will have her call if  interested in talking to them. She gave me a number of 800-260-5570 which is NCO Financial Systems, Inc.. I think we should all call it at all times of the day. when they start asking questions we should just hang up.

NCO calls many times a day, and I owe no one on any credit card. They made the phone inoperable, making loud busy signals on my phone line. If I am home, I just quickly hang up, as they call 4 or more times a day. They are calling 808 744 0812 in Hawaii.

Perhaps someone else had this number who had bad credit?

How can I make them stop waking me up, with their calls?

These people keep calling my cell phone and asking for some patricia woman that i've never heard of. i have been getting these calls 4 or 5 times a day for a month even though i have told them they have the wrong number. its been 2 or 3 different people who call. they're ignorant and rude.
