It comes up on the caller ID as Auto Warranty.

The guy(who wouldn't give his name) asking for David Smith said he was from National Auto on behalf of Nissan Warranty.  Wow, how vague.  Amazingly he claimed that they didn't have a phone # to call back to, and then he pretty rudely demanded that I transfer him to David Smith.  What an idiot.  Came up as 240-318-1602.  I guess I'm really not sure what the point of any of these calls are, they call into my company all the time and never get anywhere.

Called today at 9:37 AM , no message left. Called before 5 times

They called asking about my Nissan.  I called my dealer and he confirmed that I'm still under warranty with Nissan and these guys are shady.  He said the state sells your VIN numbers to them.  Caller ID said "Auto Warranty."  They ARE NOT with Nissan.

I have received several calls from this number at my work location. The first time that I answered it, they talked very quickly and when I asked who it was, they started stammering and asking questions.  Ultimately, they did ask about a vehicle.  
Even though I told them that the vehicle is not at this location and I know nothing about it, they are still calling.

they called today at 3pm (12/18) and no one answered.  I called back and kept getting a recording that I was ___ in line.  When it was my turn I was asked to leave a message!  Didn't tell me who they were or anything!

I got a call from this number repeatedly for two weeks.  Finally I answered and this jerk kept telling me that my warranty on my car is expiring an that I have to have an extended warranty.  I have an extended warranty with VW.  So he went on to say that I have to have it, it is the law.  He asked me for my credit card info so that he could put me on a plan.

I am so tired of harassment from telemarketers.  This sounded like a scam!!

Month or more have been getting these robo calls IDd as Auto Warranty to my CableOne-based 208-922-**** land line, never anyone on the line. It was a good reminder to register this number, which I got only in late July, with the do-not-call registry.

I'd say it's more likely a scam to get your CC info than an actual company providing an actual auto warranty product.

The same thing just happened to me. When I called them back 3 times I was always 4th in line. When I was number 1 and was connected to a "customer service rep" I was told to leave a message. Every time they have called when you pick up they disconnect. If this is for Nissan, I don't own a Nissan! I blocked them thru my phone provider. Won't be hearing from them again.

Received a call from this number around 3:30.  Don't know anyone in Maryland, but answered.  I've gotten these calls before, and typically they just hang up and never say anything.  This guy started talking finally, and I could tell he wanted to sell me a car warranty.  I interrupted him and said "I'm not interested, and can you remove me from your list?"  That caught him off guard.  He said "what??"  I said, "I'm not interested in your warranty, and would you please remove me from your list?"  He mumbles something, and I hear him talking to someone else in the room, "huh?  This guy says he's not interested and wants off the list.  What do I do?".  That's when I hung up and added the number to my block list.

These clowns keep calling my work number and my cell number.  They are trying to sell a warrenty to my 2012 Nissan.  Name of company is National Auto. I called Nissan and was told they are a third party company that received my information from the DMV (I purchased my car in NJ and have recently moved to PA). National Auto is NOT affliated with Nissan.  Seems to me it is a service that tries to get people to pay for something they may or may not need.  Hope this information helps.
