Called for someone that has never been a member of this household threatening litagation and legal action.  Has called several times, and we have repeatedly told them they have the wrong number.

We are running into the same problem... I called and they yelled at me and hung up.

called me and threated to put me in jail if I did not pay the past due amount on an account that I had never heard of.  Asked for paper work and told that I could not have any.  It was not avaliable/

same thing happened to me

Called and spoke to my wife saying there was a civil complaint against a company with us and our phone number listed as contacts.  Recommended we deal with it immediately and left this number (although they called from 240-235-4133  I didn't call back after googling the return phone number and seeing this posting.

NOW ALL THE NAMES THEY GET ARE FROM PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY OWE DEBTS,  THEY ARE TRYING TO COLLECT ON REAL DEBTS. THEY HAVE ACCESS TO EVERY PERSONS SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER FROM A ONLINE SITE.

I looked up litigation consulting services in Bethesda, MD because LLC's are public record. I don't see any of the names you list for ownership. Please explain because I received a call and negotiated a favorable settlement. This is something I owe, but if they're not legit, I want to stop paying them.

I also looked up final claims asset locators in NYS Department of State. They also don't mention the owners you state, and the address is different. Please help.

Litigations Consulting Services doesn't exist. That's just a fake name for Final Claims Asset Locator's. Even though they call from a 240 area code, they are calling from Buffalo New York.

As for the names, I don't know what names the business is under, but my friend's boss was Tobias Boyland. He owns the company. Like I said his website is

Company is a legit collection agency, but this claim of Tobias Boyland must be bogus. The bags of money site is just a rap site, nothing worth clicking on...trust me on that!!

I did some research on that address you posted agove. SuperPages.com (shows this more specific information:

That "Suite 400-146" screams rented mailbox. A reverse search on that address shows that a Subway restaurant, a travel agency, a drug store and other similar businesses located there. That usually means it's a shopping center. And if a debt collector has a shopping center address, that usually means there's a mail box rental store at that shopping center.  Sure enough, The UPS Store -- which rents out private mailboxes -- is located at 3871 Harlem Rd:

Seems to me that if, as you claim, you worked for this company, you would know that the 3871 Harlem Road address isn't the office of Final Control Asset Locators but merely a rented mailbox.

So the question is, why post misleading information? I have no doubt that Final Control Asset Locators is some fly-by-night debt collector, but you've offered no evidence that the calls that appear to come from 240-483-4601 are being placed by Final Control Asset Locators.  I tend to trust Bud Hibbs' information on this scam more: http://budhibbs.com/debtcollectorpages/NAAIB.htm

I got a call on my answering machine.  I owe no o ne any money past due or currently due.  So why are they calling me and threating civil action #YMC28923?

Ignore it.  If they ask if you can write down a case number, just tell them you are fresh out of paper and pens.

I ahve been getting calls from (240) 235-5615 and they are telling me that I owe money from 2000 that I am 99% sure I do not owe.  When I asked for thier address I was put on hold for 15 min.  Then when I called back the man told me that I would have to have my attorney call to get that info.  They will not give me any info on the debt other than how much I owe.  This sounds fishy to me....

pay them nothing.  If they really wanted you to pay, why wouldn't they give you an address?  
can you say scam?
