I called this number back and it is Merrits research center to have them stop calling call 1-800-864-8601 and leave your number to be taken off there list

Just received a call using this number. ID showed 240-699-8907 from MD, USA. I don't know number so let go to voice mail. No message left, so checked it out and got this site. If it was ligit, would have left message. No such thing, so whoever called is S.O.L.  Go to the toy store and buy 2 small bouncy balls, so then at least you will have a pair of balls......
I'm regestered with the Do Not Call, so will file this number with them ;)

This number called the last couple days or so.  Caller ID says it's Ford Motor Co.  If it was, Ford's would leave a message saying either I owe them money (which I do not), or wish me to call back for a survey (which they don't).  In fact, absolutely NO message is left. I plan on letting Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan (yes the headquarters) know they're number is being spoofed.

Get calls from this number all the time.  Never leaves a message.  Need it to stop!

Just started getting calls from this number.  No message left.  Thank you to the person who posted the 800 number to get on their "Do Not Call List".

It is a customer survey if you get your car serviced at a Ford Dealership.  Same thing happen to me, no message etc.  I just finally answered it.

I answered it and it beeped three times and then my phone's camera seemed to snap a picture of me with flash and all!  Talk about an invasion of privacy!

Yea had my car worked on and gave them my cell # and have been getting calls from that # since. I guess they will get tired of calling or I block the #

It's a bogus "we are not a telemarketing company so you will not receive a sales call, but we want your opinion to better serve our clients to serve you" ... So, ultimately, call 800 864 8601, press 5 (to verify touch-tone phone) then enter your 10 digit phone number to be removed from their garbage list. Don't enter a "1" or anything else before it.

It's pretty bad when a company has to say "our calls are allowed under the do-not-call laws since we are not a telemarketing company.." .. that alone raises red flags.

Continues to call does not leave message. I am on the national register do not call list.

Then leave a message with the call back number. Maybe you won't waste so much time trying to reach someone, and they may just call back! If I don't know the number or what it is about I don't answer especially  
on my cell phone.

Just got a call from this number.  I didn't answer, as I don't know anyone at this number or in Maryland.  I must agree with those who say it's a follow-up after having taken my truck to the local Ford dealership only a few days ago for servicing.  If it's REALLY from Ford, rather than someone they've farmed off my e-mail address to, then I wish FORD themselves would ID themselves and leave a message.  If this comes again, I will report them to the Do Not Call Registry, as I've been registered for years and almost never receive calls like this from unknown, probably sales, companies.

hahaha Conspiracy much?  It is Ford Motor Company calling for a survey.  If you have taken your vehicle for service at a Ford Dealer they will call to see how it went.

Doesn't matter if you are on the do not call list.  Excluded calls from that list are companies you've done business with.  So if it is Ford calling for a survey on car service then it would not fall under the do not call list.

Had service work done at ford dealer and received call from this number. Was asked if work was OK and were we satisfied etc.  Said that we would get another survey within a couple of weeks so will start waiting.

240-699-8907 has been calling every day for a week. I don't recognize the number but my caller ID says Ford Motor Co. I don't own a Ford, so don't know why someone would be calling out of state.
