Message left from a man with a heavy accent stating his name was Steve Mart. Telling me I'm in trouble with the Magistrate for a felony. Wants to work with me to avoid prosecution. Don't fall for this SCAM!!!

Left a voicemail.  Scammer.  US Treasury judgement. Steve Modern.  Whoa!  Sca-ree!  Said something about a federal magistrate, and grand jury.  Yikes, what a waste of time this guy must be.  Wouldn't mom and dad be proud?  Yuck!

caller says his name is Dan or Don Martin...threatens action if you do not return call which he lists several times as 240-745-1340  recd this call today at 2:14 pm

Received a call yesterday (1/6/16) at 2:15. This is the second one I received. He did not mention me by name. I'm sure the US Treasury would know my name if I was in trouble with them. Sounds like a scare tactic to me. Hope no one falls for it.

Message from Steve with heavy accent, could not make out last name. Stated US Treasury judgment, Federal Magistrate, prosecution, etc.  Same as the other comments listed. Said "Let us help you"

Same scenario as everyone else....A guy named Steve Mart with a heavy accent left a message that he was calling on behalf of the U.S. Treasury Dept. to collect on a debt.  He threatened me with prosecution by a magistrate or federal court.  Total scam.un

I received this call today as well.  I called them back.  I challenged them that they had the wrong person since "Michael" was not my name.  They said an arrest warrant was issued and that they were transferring me to a deputy.  Line went dead upon supposed transfer.

I have received calls from this place two days in a row.  The problem is I changed phone providers last month and these calls are for the person who had the number before me.

Called warning me that the feds were after me. Heavy accent, Steve ?

Says they are calling on behalf of the government or magistrate......and tells me to call them back so they can help me. Really?
They call during the day hoping that whoever is home, I guess they are trying to target senior citizens, will answer directly and engage in conversation.

woman called left a message. I returned call man with heavy accent answered , told me I had a lawsuit against me from the IRS . I needed to pay back Taxes for 2011 and 2015. Scam

Scam!!!!  Threaten legal action if you don't call back.  This is absolute crap!
