- DAPI received a call from Ms. Waters of Rumbuck American Income Supplement(also known as Rimbuck/) of Troy MI. Her number is 248-283-5388 X926. She wanted to know if I would like to interview with their company on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week for 15 mins. She was very unclear about the position and stated they had offices in Lansing, Flint, Detroit and Troy (I-75/Crooks Road). No address was given. She claimed they serviced Union Workers. I was more interested in how she received my information? She stated it was from a job bank but did not say for which? When I Googled this information I was directed to a 800 Known caller blog which confirm this call was not legitmate. I could not find any other information regarding this company on the web.

- SSThis is an agency that recruits for people to do sales of insurance programs to businesses. You will be required to pay up front for any licences necessary which they will not divulge unless you ask this question specifically. They troll Moster and Careerbuilder for resumes... Pass!!

- Daniel| 2 repliesI received a call from American Income Life, the lady was well spoken, and I
went in for the interview and landed a position as a benefits officer making $800.00 a week. At this point some money is better than no money! - Miss Li got a call from this number saying they got my resume from monster, they said it was from AIL. I called back and left a message, i immediately thought it was for a sales job, but wasn't sure. I have had these kinds of calls before from primerica so got suspcious, also because they've called me before in early march and left no message.....

- Gary| 1 replyI also live in the Flint area, and received a call from these people, she said she found my resume on Monster. Like Brian had said this is also totally not my field. The interveiw was for today, I''m not wasting my time or gas after seeing this. They can find another sucker.
- Gary replies to GaryShe also mentioned that google did not have the correct directions and insisted that I just use her directions. I feel bad for the folks that fell for this scam.
- DATI received a similar call this morning. Mr. Dan Bennett said they found my resume on Monster.com. Arranged an interview with a Mr. Rod Ward and did give detailed directions to the building. As with Alex (above), I was told to bring fresh copies of my resume, business references with numbers, and professional dress.
Most of the comments above are negative, but Daniel did seem to get a paying job out of the interview. Does anyone have anything more specific, either negative or positive?- Caller: AIL
- Scot KI got the same call 3 times, the first two were messages from Melissa from The Rumbuc Company. She stated that she had seen my resume on Career Builder and was interested in setting up a interview. The 3rd I answered and spoke to "Melissa" she told me that the company was looking for new management positions, and the asked Ms some general questions; tell me about yourself? What would make you a great manager? Are you willing to work hard and have an open mind? Then she said based on your answers I would like you to come in and me our founder "Paul Rumbuc" who IS NOT the founder, the company isn't even named The Rumbuc Company, its a union life insurance company. Still haven't decided whether to go, prob not bc I was lied to!

- mrs. iceI got the same call from Melissa today and she said I got your resume from CareerBuilder and would you tell about yourself and so forth. She said that she wants me to come in for an interview tomorrow and meet with Paul Rumbuc, in Troy, MI. She wouldn't really give me any more info and as she was about to hang up, I said wait I have about two question for you. She said ok sure, I asked her what was the based pay? She said that people can earn 40K-60K in their first year. So I asked what is the position exactly and she said that it was management.... don't know what that means exactly, like management for what????? but I did look them up with the BBB.org and they are accredited and they don't have any complaints. but the number that she called me from was 248-270-9591. and the address for the interview she gave is 901 Tower Dr. Suite#100 Troy, MI 48098. Crossroads are Longlake and Crooks Rd. and when I seen some of the other reviews the address and phone numbers were different. not sure why. but companies do have more that one contact number. not sure what to make of it yet. like I said my interview is tomorrow and I'm not sure if I will go or not. but if I do I will be sure to post a detailed review about it. giving you all the truth about Rumbuc Agency A.K.A. American Income.

- Ms ElicettaI received a phone call from "Melissa" 248-270-9591 too. Saying she saw my resume on Monster... that they provide supplemental benefits to unions and were looking for someone to fill a full-time management position, what was i looking for in a "career"? Asked me to tell her something about my self, how would I make a good manager... Nothing on my resume had anyting to do with managerial skills or qualifications. I wanted to keep my options open; being with no job, I'd check it out for myself. An interview is set up for next week to meet with PAUL RUMBUC. Bring fresh copy of my resume, 3 references personal or business and professional dress... same as DAT stated. Another thing S S stated that they want you to pay for a license up front. As a matter of fact you do have to have a license to sell insurance. If Rumbuc wants to hire you - they should pay for the license! Thanks for the heads up. I will call "Melissa" before the interview to get some answers before i go all the way out to Troy. Thanks everyone for your comments... very helpful.

- heather Jreceived a call from these people today. the gentleman on the phone was far from professional. said he got my resume from career builder and wanted to interview me. but during the phone call he had no idea what my last job was. what my experience was and at the end of the phone call asked me my first name! he also couldnt even tell me the general area of the building. cross roads or anything. just gave me an address.. when asked where i was coming from (the city right next door) he had no idea where that even was... i turned down the interview and googled the phone number to be sure. but i could tell from talking to the gentleman that this was a scam just by his lack of knowledge about me and everything else. how do you have my phone number but not my name or experience if youre looking right at my resume?
