caller I.D. says law offices of. They never say anything most of the time. But one time they did and the gentlemen said they needed to talk to me about some of my personal information about a debt. And could only do it in person on the phone by law.

Keeps calling about every half hour, doesn't leave a message.

I have been getting calls from The Law Offices Of for about 2 months now, September 2011 til November 2011.  I finally got someone on the line today and would like to post the following information. I talked to Bernard and he told me this number belongs to STILLMAN LAW OFFICES, 7091 Orchard Lake Road, Suite 270, West Bloomfield, Michigan, 48322.  I was not able to obtain anymore information as Bernard was not willing to answer anymore of my questions.

However I went on line and found out that this is a collection agency. They use the 248 406-2519 number for their robo-calls but the real number to this law firm is 248-851-6000, Fax is 248-851-5029.

Has been calling for a long time. When I have been able to speak with an actual person, it is a debt collection agency. I've offered to pay 20% of my take home pay, but they refuse this amount. They want the full payment or a large payment that I simply cannot afford. I asked them to garnish my paycheck, they refuse. They instead garnished my bank account and have drained it three times, causing me overdraft fees. (I naively agreed to payments EFT from my account, but they took everything instead - so much for payments I can afford).

I do owe this debt. I wish I could pay it, but these people are not willing to work with you. I had other debts (from losing my job) but have managed to pay those off a little at a time. This company and one other REFUSE to work with what I can afford. I am stuck with this debt.

The man said "It's people like you that have ruined life for the rest of us. My kid can't get a home loan because of scum like you." I told him he does not know me, and before this I had never had a problem with paying my bills - I had perfect credit. Now, my life is ruined. Thanks STILLMAN for making me feel like a complete waste of oxygen. Also thanks for the hourly phone call which is USELESS since you refuse to take what I can afford to pay.

Stillman Law Office is harassing me regarding my son.  They're calling my phone number and then they hang up when it is not my son.  I've told them that in Michigan once I told them they were harassing me they had to stop, but they continue to call me.

I get these calls a few times a week. I also noticed that on the days they call I get other "unavailable" or "name not found" calls. What a wonderful thing CALLER ID  is, I DO NOT answer. The Stillman law office message is off it only starts at if you need to go and get this person press ... Well if you don't know who they are calling for  then what is the point. I don't do any business with ANYONE that calls me. If they want to speak to me then put it in writing and maybe I will follow up.
As far as the person telling the other person that they were scum I only have to say It takes one to know one. I really would like to be a witness to these scuzoids that harass people when they find themselves unable to pay a debt. Most of them are uneducated and CAN"T find a REAL JOB, they are frustrated and want to take their aggression out on others. Misery loves company.
Let the truth be known all credit is insured the Original lender has received their money, notice these COLLECTION Agencies are trying to collect a debt "on behalf of..." These scum bags harass you trying to collect on money that has already been satisfied from the insurance on the Original lender. They even try to collect on things like just pay this amount as a good faith of cutting the amount down.

I had a friend that fell for that and paid the reduced amount and the debt collector sent the IRS a 1099 for the remainder owed so my friend had to pay taxes on the money because it was treated as income. Most people are honest and really can't pay the debt. They think you are sitting on the money and just not paying the debt.
Just don't answer and don't call the number back Google it to see who called.
