Received call from 248-507-4158.   No Message left and the caller ID listed only, 'Troy, MI' as the name of the caller.

rec'd call....no one said anything.

Rec'd phone call this morning. When I said hello, there was no reply....duh!

rec'd two calls this afternoon. Voice mail picked up both times--no messages either time. Caller listed only as "Troy, MI".

Have been getting 2 calls a day from this number. The caller ID says Clarkston, MI. Didn't answer...won't leave message..hangs up when voice mail kicks in. Probably political.

Political polling call. Who am I voting for in both presidential campaign as well as senate race. Also wanted to know if I thought America was headed in the right direction. No one can figure out however who is footing their bill. I answered any way. I am confident in my voting choices this campaign.

Also receiving two calls a day from "Troy, MI." No messages left and no one answers when I pick up.

Called yesterday, left no message.

Mine came up as QVD

Came up on caller ID as Clarkston, MI...Hangup as soon as answering machine started.

same as above - QVD. I know about fooling predictive dialers with the disconnect tone, so i have that wmv file right on my desktop. I hold the phone (mic side, of course)  up to the computer speaker, open the file and then "answer" the call. I did it just now to this call and after I let it cycle a few times, I heard the same disconnect message coming out of their end! Maybe this actually worked! I don't have the url, but a simple google search will turn 'em up. Look for the AT&T version - it seems to be the most accurate pitch-wise and also seems generic/universal. Good luck!

I found a company called QVD; these are likely the scumbags who have been calling us:

another unwanted call   Do not call list stinks.   Caller ID said  QVD    Will not answer unknown number.   They did not leave message

Just got a call from this number.  I said hello, person did not answer.  I then said yes.  Person asked for me.  Here's where I pulled the trick.  I told her I was not here, then she asked for if my husband was available to take the call.  I told her neither one of us was here and I was basically housesitting for them.  End of conversation.

Stop calling my mama! She has been though enough since dad died!

Caller ID said QVD. Phone service for this number is provided by Level 3 Communications. That's a name that pops up quite frequently on spam calls.

ID said QVD.  I answered it and they said something about children's leukemia....then I hung up.  Don't talk to any of them...children's leukemia, children's cancer and breast cancer...they are all scammers!
