I received a message from this phone number with a computer voice trying to contact me about some legal affair with a case number. I have no knowledge of any legal affairs against me, especially from Michigan, as I don't live there. I am assuming this is a scam, because they claim this is their second attempt at contacting me. Has anyone else received threatening messages like this?

I just received the same call. I got one the other day just like it from a Massachusetts # 351-202-1743. I am not aware of anything like that for myself either. It must be a scam.

Got the same message. Legal enforcement action, with case number. No identification of the authority other than Michigan.

I got the same call. I called them back and someone with a thick Indian accent answered.  I assume it's a scam. They wanted my personal info to continue and I wouldn't provide it.

I received the same phone call on June 1, 2017. I agree, it must be a scam.

I just did and I'll be reporting it to my local sheriff dept

“Legal affairs intending your serious attention your case number is CF79621 ignoring this message will be an additional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or the grand jury for a federal criminal offense my number is 248-679-8852 I repeat it's 248679885 to do not disregard this message and do return the call now if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as the situation unfolds on you goodbye

Received same call.  When I called during off hours, only got a generic voicemail-no identification on who I was calling.
