Calls my number, no response on other end,  I attempt to call back... Number cant be reached, obviously BS type call ... very annoyed.

They said they were from Microsoft and wanted access to my computer. They were very persistent, but I said I was too busy. They wanted to call back but said no.

Got call from man with slight East Indian accent, very persistent in wanting to get into my computer to fix Trojan Horse virus infection.  A few questions determined he didn't know crap about my computer. Asked him for number where I could reach him (to ascertain his legitimacy), and he gave one.... not surprising it was not in service.  Useless [***] should get a real job.

I just had the same call.
This eastern world guy wanted access to my computer.
I asked him if he knew where hell was.
He responded " Yes sir"
I told him Good! Find your way there!

Accent - says he's from a company called  "Fix My Computer" - fishing for Windows and Microsoft!

These guys are a group of people based out of India, Pakistan and China who farm numbers off the internet and call them asking for access to PC claiming they are Microsoft Partners. I called Microsoft security team who are well known to me and they said that these people install malware and dormant ransomware into computers, so no access should be provided. Also reported to CRTC, Canada and IC3, USA who monitor such people and maintain a database. Please report these calls to both the organizations.

Caller claims he is a Microsoft client troubleshooting (on behalf of MS) errors coming from my computer.  It is sending out error messages which will slow down my computer and eventually stop it from working.   He has a fix for me if I just go to my computer,  he will fix the problem for me.....  SURE..  he has a lot of "fear" commente to tell me.  I am an electronic technologist and have been working with computers for over 30 years.  I cant believe this kind of SCAM is going on.
