My husband received a call on his cell phone.  It's a "mobile" number provided by Bell and the phone is being used out of Nelson, BC.  We called the number right back and got a recording that the number is no longer in service.  SCAM!!!

I just got the same phone call!  I havent called the number back yet tho!

Just got one myself in Nanaimo from that number. Message said Because you are a valued Bell customer...    and though I'm with Virgin Mobile, Virgin uses the Bell network. The question is do we call 611 and ask them how someone got a list of their customers (I've only had this phone number for 2 weeks, and only my wife and family know it) or do we call phonebusters?

Same for me in Nanaimo. I'm on a PaynTalk plan and calls like thjis one cost me money! Grrrr

Here in Victoria, I missed a call from this number about 45 minutes ago. I've only been with Bell since January. I haven't published my number anywhere, but I have provided it to Google for calendar notifications, and password recovery.

Got the same call. I've been getting weird calls ever since I gave my # to google for youtube. is this their fault? jfc

I also just got a call from this number about 5 mins ago. Missed it, didn't recognize the number and googled it.
I'm a 7yr Bell customer in the Okanagan and put my # on the telemarker do not call list with the feds. Sounds like it's a Bell promotional thing.

Just got the call in Kelowna, I'm on Virgin mobile

I got a call from this number, didn't answer because I didn't recognize it.  Googled it, ended up here.  I've been with Bell for 10 months.

Also bell customer in kelowna. Didn't answer, no voicemail.

I contacted Bell who told me this was a scam and they would have their security department investigate immediately.  Do not press 1!

Got a call as well, I'm in Prince George and only a limited number of people have my #, so it's not Bell then? Does that mean our numbers have been released to a telemarketing company?

Just got the call.  I'm in Whitehorse but my phone number is in Kelowna.  Didn't answer, and no message was left.

Just got on too - Im a bell customer located in Trail BC

I received a call from this phone number on my cell, which do happen to use through Bell.  They said because I was a valued customer I won a prize and press "1" to claim.  When you press "1" they said I won a trip and started asking me personnal questions which we all know is just a scam!!  I phoned it back later on my landline and it says that this number is not in service!!

i am a bell customer in golden, bc. did not answer either...

Just got this call and didn't answer. No voice mail.
