It is from Armstrong and Associates Law Firm calling about collections- my call was regarding unpaid bill to Thomas Hospital in Fairhope AL if that helps anyone. If you didnt answer dont worry they will call back, several times a day. LOL>

I used to work for this company about 2 years ago, They collect on hospital debts and other small doctor offices debts.. If I remember correctly they keep calling you for about 3-4 months..

Called twice today. Just sounds like 16 million people talking in the background. No one ever answered so I hung up.

I just got a call from this number.  I usually don't answer numbers I don't recognize but did because it said it was from Mobile, Alabama and I have a 94 year old aunt there and thought someone could be calling about her as I'm one of the primary contacts if something does.  No one said anything after I answered and then it showed as a missed call.  I jumped on line and checked to see who the number belongs to and after finding this, I went to the number in my iPhone and put a block on them so that they won't be able to get through to me again.

Why do these types of people call people first instead of sending them paperwork in the mail?  They seem to think that if they call people they can scare or threaten them into just paying up to get these people to leave them alone - whether or not it's even a legitimate reason that they're being contacted.

Harassing calls while I'm at work

These people are extremely rude. I mean right out of the gate, the second you answer their tone needs to be adjusted drastically and you can't talk to them. They want to talk AT you, tell you you WILL pay "or else".

I've had them block their number from caller ID, they call before 9am, but for some odd reason rarely call in afternoons (at least for us)

You can ask them for info to give someone a message and they practically snarl at you.
Had to call today, they said it was for my daughter, she called (got the same attitude from another person) and they said it was for my husband. They can't even get their facts right half of the time!

So I called them back (helloooo how many people call back a collections!?) Now I understand collections is a hard job and they probably get cussed at daily, but when you try to explain to some moron you paid a bill THREE months ago (and have receipts to show for it) then they need to shut up and listen. Not snarl, snap, and threaten to hang up like a 5yr old having a fit.

Unless they've changed the laws, you have a right to pay the people you owe, not a collector, so stand firm!

Most people calling be cray

They were calling for someone else. I asked them if they were a Law Firm or a collections office. They said neither and wouldn't verify who they actually were. I felt deceived by the caller.

This firm has evidently not heard of the Fair Credit Act - I have written them to stop calling and they still continue

This is upsetting my senior mother really bad, please stop the calls to her phone.

There was a true court show on TV called "Eye for an Eye" the Plaintiff was a Collection employee, Wow did the Judge take the Plaintiff over the coals regarding their unnecessary assertiveness, aggressiveness, It was funny.
