claims to be Microsoft tech..scam!

I just received a phone call from a fake Time Warner sales associate.  He stated I could get Time Warners  Cable, Internet and Home phone for only $90.00 a month locked in for 3 years.  I told him I was already with Time Warner and my bill was higher. He told me he could get it lower and asked if I was interested.  I said yes.  He then told me he would transfer my call to his Time Warner manager to get me signed up.  His fake manager accidently told me he was with AT&T.  I said wait the other guy told me this was Time Warner.  As soon as I said that he hung up.

These scammers have India like accents. Be careful and never give ur personal info over the phone.

Stay safe guys. These scammers will call pretending to be anyone.  Windows Tech support to Fake Warrents for tax evasion and now Time Warner and At&t reps.

This number keeps calling my home & cell phone. When I answer, they hang up on me. They call several times a day also every day.  Both my numbers are on the "do not call" list.

I just got a call from the same number and the Indian accented fellow asked how I was and then when I asked who was calling he said he loved me.  Of course I hung up.  Since the number is available from *69 can't someone do something to stop these people?

Continues to call my mother's phone.  Can't call the number back.  How do we stop this?

Just received the same call.

Simply block the number.  Every time we get a call from a number we do not recognize, I Google the number then, if there are complaints about the number, I block it. No more calls come through.  Since these scammers will use many different numbers, just Googl and block.  Takes a few minutes but well worth it.
